Saint-Pierre-de-Curtille is home to one of Savoie's most visited monuments: Hautecombe Abbey, a must-see. You'd almost forget that there are three churches in the commune. The first is the abbey church, the second is the former parish church at Val de Crêne, beneath the Château de Pombeau (now a private site), and the third is the Saint-Pierre-aux-Liens church at Saint-Pierre-de-Curtille. It deserves attention, as does the barge barn, part of the Hautecombe estate and located at the abbey's landing stage. A beautiful building that regularly hosts events.
