Located in the heart of the Massif des Bauges Regional Nature Park, the municipality of Mercury covers a vast area of 2,233 hectares and includes some thirty hamlets scattered over the hills. The marked trails starting from Mercury allow visitors to discover the local producers, in particular the orchards, as well as the forts of the region, such as the fort of Tamié offering an unobstructed view of the Combe de Savoie and proposing a fascinating visit, as well as the fort of Villard, less known and situated in the lower part of the commune. The castle of the lords of Chevron, built in the 14th century, is not open to the public.
