Administratively, the summit of the famous Puy Mary is at the meeting point of four Cantal communes: Le Falgoux to the west, Lavigerie to the east, Mandailles-Saint-Julien to the south and Le Claux to the north. Several paths start from Le Claux: burons, chamois, Bois Mary and the GR 4 and 400. The small village of Le Claux opens onto the Parc naturel régional des Volcans d'Auvergne, at the foot of the Puy Mary massif, Grand Site National. Nestling at an altitude of 1,050 m in a glacial valley, Le Claux can be visited both in winter and summer. You can practice cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and participate in a paragliding baptism.
