This time, no more doubt: you are in a country of woods and meadows. This village boasts the highest Douglas fir in France: 55 m high and 4.38 m in circumference. It is indeed here that these fir trees from North America were planted for the first time in France. The Count of Sablons brought back a few specimens in 1872 and, since then, the Douglas fir forests have multiplied in the region, providing wood for carpentry and furniture.
