Colombier is said to be a village of stones perched on the heights, with a highest point of 1,430 m in the heart of the Pilat Regional Natural Park. At the entrance to this small village, you will find one of the largest megalithic sites in Pilat: the Flat menhir, a 4-metre-high boulder, surrounded by rocks with cupules, tumuli and gorges of aim. Colombier is also the birthplace of Laurent Odouard, a famous healer who came from a line of no less famous bonesetters. A bust pays tribute to him on the village square. Several walks to discover the Menhir du Flat, but also to admire the panorama of Lacat or to take the Petit chemin des Bois.
