On the heights of Pilat, Graix is a tiny village (146 inhabitants) with a discreet traditional habitat preserved both in its town and in the surrounding stone farms. Here again, the panorama on Forez, the Alps, the chain of Puys and the Jura is superb. Numerous paths allow hikers to enjoy the pure air, the beech and fir forests, the meadows sheltering a preserved flora. On the moors, the vegetation takes on an alpine look with blueberries, pansies and mountain arnicas. Small heritage to discover with the millstream of Sagnelonge, the cross of the Heaume on the way of the crosses.
