8 km east of Chabeuil, you cross Peyrus, a town bathed by the Lierne river where one of the only French swimming pools filled with spring water is located. Crossed by the D68, it is the last village before the ascent of the Vercors plateau by the Col des Limouches. One of the two churches in the village dates from the 17th century. Called "the Church of the Vow", it is one of the fourteen churches built by Louis XIV, in execution of Louis XIII's wish to have given him an heir son.
