9 km from Crest, off the main road leading to Loriol, here is a beautiful and little-known perched village, surrounded by woods where you can go hiking or mountain biking. Beautiful medieval remains, including those of the ramparts and the castle of Poitiers which dominate the village. The thick-walled bell tower of the church was used as a defence tower. It is accessible once a week in the summer and offers a panoramic view. Under the castle site, the former stone extraction quarry has become an open-air theatre and comes alive for a summer cultural programme. New asset: the starred chef Sébastien Bonnet has left Crest to settle in Grane.
