A village perched close to Mont Ventoux, its narrow, winding streets, lined with stone-framed houses, provide a charming backdrop for walking to the castle, or what remains of it. Only a square tower and the walls pierced with loopholes still stand. Nearby is the fortified church of the 12th century whose bell tower, dressed in glazed tiles is atypical. The artists' village, ceramists' and painters' workshops are all part of the visit. Note that in the neighboring hamlet of Crottes, you can walk the botanical trail in about 1 hour and the trail "High" for the same duration.
