You cross Saint-Cierge-la-Serre, a rural and very quiet village of 250 inhabitants that had twice as many inhabitants before the Revolution. No shops but a Catholic church, a little off-centre on a hill, and a temple in the heart of the village. The municipality is located in the production area of the Ardèche AOC chestnut. Tradition has it that the village festival in June pays tribute to the bombine, an Ardèche speciality made from potatoes, carrots and onions, beef pieces, pork feet, bacon, thyme and other herbs from the scrubland, all cooked in the village oven. Hiking trails. You continue down towards La-Voulte-sur-Rhône on the D265.
