Aranc, a village on the Hauteville plateau, is famous throughout the region for its famous cheese dairy, which was founded at the end of the 19th century and operated until 1985. A new cheese factory has been installed in the old maturing cellars with a sales area. The old room of manufacture of the county became a space of discovery. If the built heritage is interesting - church, houses, school, wash houses, fountains... -the natural heritage offers wonderful sites. Aranc has a wide variety of landscapes due to its altitude ranging from 420 to 1,011 m. With 40% of its surface covered by forests, Aranc is a hiking area to explore.
