Don't miss this very large village which has existed under this name since 993 when William I of Provence, known as "the liberator", gave his property of Sarrians to the Abbey of Cluny. But imagine that traces of prehistoric life have been found, a burial site dating from 2400 BC that housed nearly 300 skeletons. The Romans also left a few pieces there. Later, the protection of the popes made it a peaceful place. Finally, it was the Revolution that finally transformed it into a battlefield on April 19, 1791. But very quickly, agricultural prosperity returned with the construction of the Carpentras canal and the arrival of the train.
