Seyne-les-Alpes and its 1,300 inhabitants live in the heart of the Vallée Blanche. The first houses were huts built on the hillside, on the site of Edenats, where various Gallic peoples lived at the time. The city was then called Sedena, which meant "those of Edenats". Sumptuous landscapes surround the village: the climb to the Roche Close ridge passes near the Mule hut and its fat grass pastures to reach, after the Pierre pass, an altitude of 2,739 m. This high ridge dominates the region and allows you to see the Mont Ventoux and the Mont Sainte-Victoire on the horizon
