La Palud is a tourist village at an altitude of 928 m, known mainly for its viewpoints over the Verdon Gorges. The castle of La Palud, rebuilt at the end of the 18th century, is home to the Maison des Gorges du Verdon, a tourist information center that is at the same time a documentation, exhibition and animation center on the environment and history of the region. To visit, the eco-museum of the Grand Canyon, on thefirst floor, is particularly interesting. La Palud is also the starting point of the route des Crêtes, which allows you to admire the gorges from above, before perhaps going for a hike.
