It is on the edge of the lake of the same name, located in the gorges of the South Verdon, that we discover Esparron. This picturesque old village and its castle cling to a steep rock. The tower, dating from approximately the 10th or 11th century, was built to watch over the Verdon. Today, the village is divided into 3 parts: the Lou Vière district around the castle, the more recent Fontaines district, built along the transhumance path, and the new village which was built after the creation of the current lake. You will enjoy walking through each of these places, taking in the different eras and the magnificent natural setting
