Passy-sur-Marne is one of those delightful green villages that's well worth a visit. In the heart of the slopes of the Marne valley, surrounded by the immense vineyards of Champagne, you can admire the remains of a feudal castle. In the center of the village stands the listed church. The oldest part dates back to the 13th century. It comprises a nave, a single aisle to the north, a transept and a choir containing an altar and Louis XV-style woodwork. A slightly earlier altar dedicated to the Virgin Mary is located in the north transept, and a third altar is dedicated to Saint Fiacre. A charming pause.
