The charming village of Connigis, 4 km from Condé-en-Brie and 10 km from Château-Thierry, offers a number of attractive viewpoints. Not to be missed: the farm-castle with part of its outbuildings converted into B&B accommodation, and the 12th-13th-century church of Saint-Georges, listed since 1920. The village has several interesting wash-houses. The one on Place de l'Eglise features an illustration from Jean de La Fontaine's fable Le Renard et le Bouc. In the surrounding area, you can take a number of bucolic footpaths and discover even more of the wonders of this beautiful region.
