Bournezeau is a small village in the Pays de Chantonnay. Once in the village, enter the 19th century church. It was built on an old church of the XIIth century, and was located in the ramparts of a feudal castle. Bournezau offers a nice walking path: the path of the castles. You can discover beautiful private houses such as the castle of Corbedomère, the castle of Thibeuf... Take the time to read the interpretation panels in the valley of the Pierre Folle stream; still on this path, you will see the memorial of the aviator Goetz. Take a bucolic stroll along the Grand Lay river.
