Mushrooms come from here! Since the early 20th century, the commune has been home to mushroom beds in its former tufa quarries. The activity is still present today, but the quarries have been converted into wine cellars. This is where you'll find France's largest wine cooperative, which is open to visitors and provides a year's supply of wine! Its 12th-century vaulted cellar is also worth a visit. In Saint-Cyr-en-Bourg, no fewer than 180 kilometers of underground networks have been dug beneath the old vineyards, some of which have been restored in the pure saumuroise tradition.
