Sainte-Maure is a saint of Touraine, but you are in Lot-et-Garonne! In the middle of the Gascon countryside with its oaks, pines and vineyards. At the entrance of the village, the parish church, dedicated to Saint Celse, was built between 1840 and 1846. Its construction was financed by a patron, Joseph Courtade de Salis, who wished to atone for his faults. He is buried in front of the church. In this village, all the delights of the region await you. From foie gras to confits, from wines to flocs de Gascogne. If you are in the area at Pentecost time, discover the assets of the village and its local producers during its annual festival.
