The new commune of Lendou-en-Quercy was born in 2018 from the merger of the communes of Lascabanes, Saint-Cyprien and Saint-Laurent-Lolmie. It takes its name from the Lendou, a left-hand tributary of the Barguelonnette. In a setting typical of the Quercy Blanc region, the architectural heritage of the new commune is that of its history. Take a stroll and admire the 1863 Saint-Laurent de Lolmie church, the 12th-13th century Château de Marcillac in Saint-Cyprien, the Château de Lolmie and the miraculous spring at Lascabanes, just down the road. Finally, Nino Ferrer, a great lover of Quercy Blanc, lived in Saint-Cyprien and died there in 1998.
