Pibrac is a charming little town of 8,000 inhabitants, located a stone's throw from the hills of the Gers and the Bouconne forest (2830 ha). Born from the ancient 12th century motte castrale of the Pibrac lordship, it enjoys an excellent location. It is a small dynamic town with a notable architectural heritage (Ste-Madeleine church, Ste-Germaine Basilica, Renaissance castle of Pibrac). It is also the starting point for all nature lovers and hikers or mountain bikers as many trails, including the GR653, the Toulouse route of the Chemin de Compostelle, run through its surroundings
