This agricultural commune of 155 inhabitants, bathed by the Espienne, a tributary of the Aussoue, borders the department of the Haute-Garonne. There are two religious buildings: the Saint-Jacques-le-Majeur church and the Saint-Jean d'En Brousset chapel. The church Saint-Jacques-le-Majeur was built in neo-gothic style from 1863 to 1869, near the castle of which there are still some remains (old walls and ditches). Inside, one can admire a wooden ceiling in the shape of a ship's hull as well as a monumental gilded statue of Saint James 1.70 m high. A commemorative plaque recalls the visit of Abbé Pierre in 1984 to baptize a niece in the village. There is a hiking trail and a petanque field.
