12 kilometres east of Prats-de-Mollo, passing through the village of Tech, you can go to the delicious mountain village of Serralongue. The little D 44 climbs through a beautiful chestnut forest to reach the high terrace on which the village was built. Perched over 700 metres above sea level, its large flowered street is bordered by ancient houses of the th and th centuries, typical of the mountain architecture of Haut-Vallespir. They include curved vaults, window lintels or remarkable wrought iron grids. Overlooking the village, the parish church is quite simple, with its tower tower, its portal and the few hinges of its door. Near the building, a majestic tricentennial hackberry, sung by some poets in the region. But the most interesting monument in the village is a little higher, just a few dozen metres from the pink granite church. It is a Conjurador, a unique copy in France. This type of building, usually built in the four horizons of the villages, was once frequent in the region. This Conjurador, well preserved, square with its steep roof once had an original function. When a thunderstorm threatened, the village priest visited it (although the building was of pagan origin) and echoed prayers, conjurant the sky to be gentle, particularly with cultures. We are no longer blessed today, but this little building is part of the great regional history.
