8 km east of Ille-sur-Têt by the N 116. Small town of 3 900 inhabitants, less than 15 minutes from Perpignan by the fast track. Its name would be the source of the large amount of millet (mill in Catalan) produced in the Middle Ages by the villagers. Its advantages are still far from negligible, particularly in the case of its church, Sainte-Eulalia, the Romanesque building of the th century, with its elegant square tower and its beautiful white marble portal, inside, the superb baroque altar of the altar, the remarkable woodwork or the curious gallery with carved beams. Millas also has its gastronomic speciality, the famous bunyetes, traditionally made between the Branches and Easter. It's a sort of Catalan crepe, cousin of the atria. The city's pastries make it all year round, and we celebrate it in March. The» and bullfighting are another great holiday, which is the» that takes place for 4 days in August. the party beats its full in the city! For all information: Millas Initiative Union - 4 Place Lafayette ✆ 04 68 57 16 68
