Bordering the N88, the village is dominated by its church and the former presbytery. The date of construction of the church is not known, but it must date back to the end of the 11th century, as it is mentioned in a letter from Pope Calixtus II, written in 1123. Its portal is remarkable, with its sculpted capitals. Its current appearance is the result of successive alterations. By 1380, the south-eastern part of the parish had already been secured by the Château du Cheylard. The northern part was also organized around an imposing square tower, the Tour de Clamouse, to resist the English. Only a few vestiges remain today.
