Situated a few kilometres from Lamalou-les-Bains, the village is set on a flat area of the mountain. Facing due south, Le Pradal symbolizes southern well-being. Dry-stone walls, terraces where a few vines, chestnut trees and cherry trees are resistant are the major elements of the landscape. Red earth and blue waters flirt with black minerals and green slopes. Under the village are dug the galleries of old metal mines and zinc and silver mines, conceded to the Old Mountain Company. The surroundings are ideal for many walks, especially the Devil's Bridge and the banks of the Mare.
