The small village of Olargues rises on a rocky, verdant hillock, offering superb panoramic views of the Caroux mountain range and the Espinouse mountains. Classified as one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France, it boasts a breathtaking environment and heritage. Overlooking the peacefully flowing waters of the Jaur, the Pont du Diable (Devil's Bridge) - an imposing marble humpback bridge - allows you to thread your way through its cobbled streets, some of which are so narrow that the roofs seem to be touching. They lead to the remains of the castrum, a 12th-century medieval castle topped by its emblematic bell tower.
