At the crossroads of the Gard, the Ardèche, the Drôme and the Vaucluse, St-Paulet-de-Caisson is a haven of peace. The GR4 and the botanical path, 3.5 km long, allow you to walk in the middle of nature. In this rural commune (wine cooperative for the Côte du Rhône wine), you can admire, among other things, the 2 castles and the 19th century church, the Romanesque chapel of St. Agnes, the Gothic oratory of St. Joseph, and finally the fountain of St. Paul which distributes water from the Champ-Cauffé spring. Finally, in a thousand year old forest, you can visit the Chartreuse de Valbonne, an old monastery of monks-hermits from 1203 with its Burgundian style glazed tiles.
