Lézan lies south of Alès, on the banks of the Gardon river. Thanks to its geographical location, it is a place of passage and exchange, and 80% of its livelihood comes from agriculture. This ancient Gallo-Roman village has a little-known heritage: a listed château, with its square tower and clock dating from the 17th century, as well as a 13th-century temple and medieval ramparts. You can also see a well, the clock tower and the Lézan bridge leading to Alès. Fairs, festivals and concerts enliven this commune in summer. The local gîte and 3-star campsite welcome you for a pleasant stay.
