Cauville-sur-Mer is a delicious village between the sea and the countryside, bordering Octeville-sur-Mer. The municipality has a very beautiful church of St. Nicholas, with a Romanesque porch and bell tower. The transept, whose two lateral chapels are hexagonal, and the choir, on ashlar and black flint foundations, are in the Gothic style, with its corbelling and bays containing polychrome stained glass windows. A wall separates the cemetery surrounding the church from the neighbouring castle, flanked by its dovecote, from the 16th century buildings. A hiking circuit called A la Découverte du littoral cauvillais (23.3 km, 6h), starts from the village.
