With its 57 hectares of surface area, Vieux-Port is one of the smallest municipalities in the region, but also one of the most picturesque! Separated from Aizier by an alluvial wooded massif, this adorable village is made up of pretty thatched cottages, like a country setting on the bank of the Seine, loved by artists such as Julien Guillemard (1883-1960), a Le Havre writer who rests there today. Between the Vernier marsh and the Brotonne forest, Vieux-Port is an essential stop on the Route des Chaumières, a resourcing and exotic nature getaway that also offers a breathtaking panorama over part of the Seine valley.
