After La Loye, you leave Val d'Amour to get closer to Dole. Plages beach lovers are well aware of La Loye and its banks less than 10 kilometres from home. After crossing the fields of sunflowers and beets extending between the village and the river, you can reach large and large beaches on the edge of La Loue. There are also tiny, hidden ones, which are only walking on foot, and which return to those who reach them first. They don't lend much attention to the village itself, yet full of charm. Large square farms, typical of Val-d'Amour with their residential part, which form a return from corner to side, have been restored. This village has an interesting archaeological ensemble consisting of a feudal motte and a church that preserves a square tower, the remnant of a Romanesque building built around 1100 but highly reworked over the centuries. A Gothic chapel was adjacent to its southern flank and its portal dates back to the th century. To go further in history, it is believed that the end of a Roman camp occupied part of the village, remains are still visible in the communal forest.
