Perched to the east of Besançon, Nancray is only 15 km from the Comtois capital. This rural village has been the talk of the town since 1988 when an eco-museum of the region's rural habitat was set up. Today, about thirty houses have been moved from their original location to be rebuilt on the 15-hectare site. The peaceful locality is also known for its other treasures. Let's mention the Saint-Valère church from the middle of the 18th century and 7 fountains, each one more attractive than the other. Nancray is finally the museum of the painter. 150 paintings of artists of the post-impressionist period are revealed to the public.
