It is a small, quiet village, full of charm, located between Blois and the Loire, with a rich wine-growing and historical past. You can discover the church of Saint-Lubin, built on the remains of an ancient temple dedicated to Apollo. In its garden, a druidic stone bears witness to the Gallo-Roman era. In the centre of the village, Saint-Christophe gathers styles from the 12th to the 16th century with a Renaissance caquetoire. There are also some walls of the old fortifications of the city established in the 7th century. The old houses have kept all their character like the manor house called Grand Port marked by its octagonal slate tower.
