Semblançay is a small town of more than 2,000 inhabitants, located on the Choisille river, which is a tributary of the Loire. A little anecdote: it is the birthplace of the famous Alfred de Vigny. Of the medieval castle of the town, perched on its rocky spur, only a few remains remain today. But you can admire an octagonal dovecote and a chapel built at the request of François I. Its emblem, the salamander, is still visible. As you stroll through the town, let yourself be surprised and charmed by the facades of some beautiful houses
