But eating at Do Forni, a historic restaurant in the heart of the San Marco district, remains a unique experience. The menu is well thought out and offers mainly fish and seafood dishes. The Osteria alla Boots is a typical Venetian bacaro where the local musicians, the local people, meet. We eat it very well and without getting ruined: pasta in dry beans, foie in Venetian, polpette and other local specialities. Cream, rocket and shrimp pastes are perfect and light enough to avoid compromising the walking afternoon that awaits you.

The restaurant is located in a charming stone house, on a picturesque square in the historic center of Bardolino. We appreciate the little more of the place, namely the courtyard (the corte) surrounded by olive trees, giving the illusion that time seems to have stopped in ancient… On the map side, do not miss the specialties of the fish house. The addition will certainly be more salty than the other restaurants in Bardolino, but impeccable service and excellent quality cuisine are enough arguments to test this address!

On the Campo San Tomà, just a few steps from the Dei Frari Basilica in the quiet neighborhood of San Polo, there is a small family trattoria. All in length, it welcomes you in a warm, wooden decor with pictorial touches, including reproductions of vedut (views) from the City of Doges and a famous Van Gogh painting. À la carte, wide choice of pizze, meat, fish but also for small faims, entries such as zuppa di pesce (fish) or greenery (of vegetables, i. e. minestrone). Good address, quality and light price. Welcome to the smile. In the beautiful season, the small garden in the back of the restaurant is very pleasant.

It's been 900 years since we came to enjoy it, or almost, because it's rather the red brick tower that overhangs the trattoria that has this age! The restaurant is nevertheless one of the oldest in Murano. Around the chef Gabriel Masiol, known as "Lele il Rosso", the service is active. We love the tomatoes with mozzarella, the lasagne, the gnocchi or the grilled sole. The homemade tiramisu does not leave indifferent. On the terrace, enjoy the view of the church of San Pietro Martire!

On the guestbook, you can see the signatures of Hugo Pratt or Fellini, to name a few. Nice collection of contemporary paintings. Small terrace outside. The cuisine is well prepared. The risotto romanowith scampi is an absolute delight, as are the dishes featuring eel, sea bass or fried fish.

Located in the house of Romeo and just steps from the Arche Arche, this osteria offers a good quality kitchen and canteen at competitive prices in Verona. The map is typically season (bigoli to donkey or duck ragù, horse braciole, pasta e fasoi, caval pastissada). The atmosphere is all the more relaxed as space is reduced and tables are shared with other customers.

Close to Ponte Rialto, this address is frequented by Venetian people, including some of the great characters of the Venetian scene… which already proves that the Antico Calyx has more than one trick in its bag to offer your taste buds a pleasant moment of Venetian and traditional specialities. Not far from the Casa di Giulietta, this typical osteria offers fish dishes like the spaghetti went busara, which we found delicious. The wines are all regional production.

If you didn't know it yet, you'll know it right away when you enter. Cavatappi means "corkscrew" in Italian, as evidenced by the improbable exhibition that adorns the walls of this restaurant-wine bar located in the center of San Marco. Come in, it's open! The canteen is simple and the place is well kept. One comes there as well to pass frankly to table as for a simple aperitif. Until 5 pm, the primi are in the spotlight and you can taste all kinds of Italian cheeses and wines, without forgetting some tasty homemade cicchetti .

The hours seem to be adjusted according to the influx of customers. In a beautiful decor of white walls and dark wood, very well thought out, one can taste at La Cantina almost the best panini of Venice prepared to measure, but also lasagna, carpaccios and good salads, with a glass of wine or a cocktail, a Bellini or a Pina colada among others. The service is pleasant and the jazz soundtrack cultivates this atmosphere. You could spend entire afternoons here, but the call of shopping in Cannaregio is irresistible..

A few steps from the Rialto, which does not go in summer without its tourist foultitude, you will take as a blessing this retired trattoria and its terrace of 7 or 8 tables deliciously shaded by a green roof. We can see what happens in the kitchen, the door being always open, and follow the lively discussions of the staff, surprisingly many. There's a big room inside, if by chance it rains. The map offers a wide choice of meat and fish (cuttlefish à la Vénitienne, gambas de, roasted seabream) or, more simply, the usual range of pizzas, including one of the seafood.

Le Borgo is nestled in an ^18th-century villa. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and in winter it's even warmer thanks to a large open fire. The careful cuisine is intimately Bellunese, as evidenced by the minestrone d'orzo e fagioli, a barley and bean soup. Fresh pasta and game dishes are equally excellent. Finish your meal with a glass of amaro dello speziale. Three simple, comfortable guest rooms are also available.

A very bright bar, in the popular neighbourhood of Castello, where you will hear about the venexian, the local dialect. You can restore a panino (vegetarian or not), cicchetti, tramezzini… Wines are carefully and carefully chosen from the local DOC (AOC).

At Bruno, the pasta is made home, the fish is fresh (the soup of fish is delicious) and the meat is tender. Only criticism: It's so good that sometimes we would have liked to have a bit more… The server is nice. All this at a "low" price!

This intimate restaurant is located in the center of Bardolino. It has a rustic and warm decoration. Its cuisine is typically local and so are its wines. Managed by Anna, Suzy and Marie, it cultivates simple recipes, faithful to the flavors of the territory (chestnut soup and pheasant broth, carpaccio of bull meat marinated in extra virgin olive oil from Lake Garda). There is also a smoking room where you can enjoy cigars and liqueurs.

Since 1977, this small trattoria, a little retro, offers fresh fish straight from the lake! You can get there from the center of Peschiera, by a nice walk along the banks. Simple and popular, the place benefits from a good location: a few steps from the port. On the menu, try the trout mousse, the pasta with tench juice, the house antipasto (made with fish) and the grilled fish fillets. A very good address with a friendly atmosphere. For dessert, the crème caramel and the tiramisu are among the most popular.

A few steps from Campo Sant'Angelo, a handful of tables, a cozy setting and the same menu for twenty years. A family cuisine that honors pasta, meats and grilled vegetables. We'll choose the ultra-rare beef filet, the spaghetti with clams, perfectly al dente , and the eggplant in saor (fried with onions), decidedly very vinegary. And for dessert, panna cotta or tiramisù, without going too far. An address that counts many regulars among its clientele. Only regret, the prices, a little too salty!

Between Palazzo Grassi and St. Mark's Square, a nice little place between a bistro and a wine bar, which clearly stands out among the mediocre restaurants in the area. We appreciate the counter covered with ciccheti and we can't resist the fried food and the nervetti alle cipolle (small veal nerves with onions). Spritz and white wine to accompany, it goes without saying.

Far from the beaten track, here is an address as we like them, discreet and picturesque at the same time. From the terrace to the interior room, everything is meticulously small and terribly pretty. So small that the chef Virgilio only proposes in his menu the arrivals of the market, for lack of having the place for too important reserves in his kitchen. His wife Larisa will serve you, depending on the ingredients of the day, a golden fritto misto overflowing from her dish, a delicious seafood risotto or scallops with asparagus.

This osteria on Campo Santa Margherita has the warm atmosphere of an old-fashioned tavern. In a large room that looks like a canteen, you eat on large common wooden tables lit by the subdued light of Murano chandeliers. A nice mix of styles. But what makes this address unusual are its taglieri, large wooden boards in XL format covered with cold cuts and cheese. Moreover, the whole team is dynamic and welcoming, even speaking French and always trying to please the guests.

Rustic-style wine bar a few steps from the Museo del Vetro, adorned with bottles containing different single-vineyard wines and blends. Venetian tapas, large boards of cold cuts, fried cheese and meatballs are there to accompany the tasting. Nice terrace, very good for a drink, surrounded by locals chatting and re-discovering the world.

Excellent products served in a typical, welcoming setting, and sourced from kilometer zero since we're on anagroturismo concept. If you're not planning to try out the restaurant (which, however, is well worth the detour on its own), take a moment to wander through this soothing larch forest, sample the region's best hot chocolate and sit out on the terrace to enjoy a delicious moment, high above the Ampezzo valley. You could even fill up on their delicious artisan cheeses.

The restaurant of the Ghedina lake is located in a fairy-tale place, which we advise you to reach on foot, through mountains and forests (see " Stroll > Ghedina lake). The main attraction of this place is the lakeside chalet, with its amazing blue-green colours in summer. A la carte, specialities of grilled meats (the most prestigious) on hot stone. On sunny days, a terrace also allows you to take a moment to relax and prolong your lunch and enjoy the magic of the panorama on the lake.

A café-bistro, located on the heights at 2,178 metres above sea level, on the road between Cortina d'Ampezzo and Alta Badia. You can stop there by car for a coffee, to eat (it is traditional, cheap and copious), but above all to admire the landscape below. You never get tired of it, and with sunshine you can even stay for hours! There are many hiking routes nearby, including to Laguzuoi. This refuge can also be a stop for lunch between two hikes.

Looking for an unpretentious neighborhood address? You've come to the right place. In the middle of dozens of glass factories, this discreet bar-brewery almost goes unnoticed. And yet, the regulars and the local craftsmen meet there for a small glass of white after work. The setting is as old-fashioned and vintage as you can get, with its wooden counter and mirrored shelves full of bottles. Sandwiches and toasts are copious and well filled. Perfect for a break during a day's visit to Murano.

In fact, this bucolic restaurant with a romantic soul is located in the southern part of the Lido, surrounded by cultivated land. At the table, you will find vegetables from the orchard and fruit from the day's catch, from the antipasto of the sea to the artichoke salad, including grilled sea bass and sea bream. To finish the meal, an ice cream or a pie and a coffee? The Garzette also has a few rooms.

No counter for this original and friendly neighborhood bistro established along Via Garibaldi, a few hundred meters from the Arsenal. Instead of the zinc, there is a colorful boat with bottles. A gourmet paradise in one of the most sumptuous places in the Dolomites! You are here at an altitude of 2,200 metres, in the middle of nature, 30 minutes drive from Cortina d'Ampezzo and 1 km from Passo Giau. Situated on a terrace, the mountain offers itself to you. The restaurant opened in 1970 and is now run by Aurelio's son Gigi. A quality cuisine with a wide and tasty range of dishes. In the summer, workshops are organized on the cooking of wild plants. A botanist accompanies you to collect a flora that will soon be on your plate

It's one of the best tables in town. If the room is not very bright and the mountain chalet decoration is inevitably a bit kitsch, the plate is delicious and copious and the service is impeccable. A la carte, Venetian specialities adapted to the season. Special mention for the tasty sliced beef and its red fruit sauce. The house speciality remains nevertheless the grilled meat, minimum 500 grams all the same! The wine list matches the dishes and offers a large choice of Italian vintages. The homemade desserts are also tempting.

Both restaurant and bar, it is the living heart of Arabba where people come to eat and drink at all hours. For they are the only kitchens open non-stop (limited to pizzas outside meal times), very convenient at the time of closing time. We tasted a delicious Capricciosa pizza. Warm and friendly welcome by a smiling and jovial team. Mountain atmosphere with local TV, music a little too loud in the background (you have to speak loudly to discuss) and mischievous old men at the counter.

An unbelievable small kiosk located in an enchanting and wild place, made of dunes and shrubs, at the end of the beach and at the beginning of the great dam of Alberoni. The colors of the totems and sculptures of the artists who passed there blend with the color of the passion of tables and chairs. We eat well (pilaf rice in saffron, paella, peooes, pasta alla busara, vegetarian dishes…), and the parties that are very regularly organized are unforgettable.

In front of the vaporetto pier, a relaxed atmosphere for this family-friendly, narrow but extremely warm room. It comes to the hour of aperitivo, to drink a beer and to eat a piece on the wooden tables among the rooms. Laura and Mario, passionate restaurateurs, go to the market every morning to choose the freshest fish and the tastiest seafood. Sarde in saor, baccalà mantecato, spaghetti with clams, dried fish with polenta and grilled fish are just a few of the dishes on the mouthwatering marine menu. But the great specialty of the house is the fish fry, for which the regulars come from far away.

Here is an address almost with its feet in the water. Surrounded by maritime pines, between the waters of the Bay of Scardovari on one side and the marshes of the park on the other, Marina '70 offers healthy and tasty regional cuisine to be enjoyed in summer under a beautiful pergola. Try the oven-baked shellfish or the fish antipasto: made up of three different dishes, it is almost a complete meal in itself. In season, many people come to eat a good plate of oysters from the lagoon. Wood-fired oven for pizzas, well topped.

You are in one of the last authentic trattorie of Venice. A historical address, well known and appreciated by the locals. Old wooden chairs and tables, a few paintings here and there... a 1950s tavern atmosphere. Here you can enjoy polpette (meatballs) alone or with spaghetti in tomato sauce and cicchetti to die for. However, the portions are not very copious. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, the Venetians speak loudly, the service is fast and friendly!

Seated on a wooden stool and leaning against a table with a checkered tablecloth, in a pretty patio, you can enjoy typical regional dishes(bigoli with duck ragout, polenta and braised meat, tiramisu) at reasonable prices. A barrel at the entrance lets you rest your glass while waiting for your table. The restaurant has a good reputation, but there are often long waits on weekend evenings, so we'll keep you waiting with a good glass of wine and some appetizers on the house.

One of the oldest osterie in Venice. A few steps from the most frequented cinema in Venice, Al Giorgione, the Venetians stopped go Vedova to drink a glass of wine and swallow a polpetta (@) before or after the show. Just catch out of the oven, because they are so tasty that they leave right away!

Naranzaria, a trendy bar-bistro opened almost at the foot of the Rialto Bridge. It takes its name from its location, which once housed the orange and lemon warehouses of the Erbaria market. A refined restaurant, it is especially popular during the summer evenings for simple but correct cuisine with pasta dishes and lasagna, pizzas and salads. But it's the terrace facing the Grand Canal that is most appealing, for an all-Venetian aperitif with spritz or plain prosecco, with some vegetarian cichetti , among others, to nibble on.
