The aroma of roasted coffee beans alone will lead you to the entrance of this piece of history, an old-fashioned store as we like it. In the impressive setting of the Scuola Grande di San Teodoro (16th century), concerts of baroque music and opera of the highest quality are regularly organized. One comes to listen to the music of Mozart, Vivaldi (The Four Seasons), Bizet, Offenbach, Pachelbel or Boccherini in this high place. The musicians, dressed for the occasion in period costumes, play the most beautiful arias of baroque opera, but also the famous arias of the operas of Verdi and Puccini. During the carnival period, the performers are dressed in masks!

Fancy a few treats before boarding your train? Here's a pastry bar a few steps from the Santa Lucia station that will get you out of trouble. Jazzy atmosphere in this very famous bar in Venice, located almost at the foot of the Rialto. In 1848 it was the centre of the Risorgimento movement and saw the birth and organisation of the anti-Austrian revolts. On the second floor there is an Egyptian room and another dedicated to the Italian wars of independence. The Pedrocchi is also known to be always open, it is a very good cafeteria where you can bite into delicious pastries, sandwiches or sip coffees and cappuccinos at any time of the day.

This romantic and colorful bar is located a few steps from the La Fenice theater. It attracts a diverse clientele, a mix of Venetians and foreigners looking for originality. You can order a glass of prosecco or champagne, a Bellini or an Italian beer. You can also work up an appetite by enjoying cicchetti (Sardinian in saor in particular), or by opting directly for secondi piatti that are just as local, such as calf's liver(fegato) cut into thin strips, served with polenta. An address that appeals on a culinary level. Once you enter the Iguanna, you will be transported in a purely Mexican atmosphere, with sombreros, flags and bright colors. Let's go for a memorable evening of celebration, with a lot of local dishes and guaranteed gluten-free: nachos, tortillas, burritos, enchiladas and fajitas, more or less sprinkled with chillies, vegetarian for some, and assisted almost every time by a tequila, a mojito, a beer, or a soda, according to your taste. At the North end of the Lido, this large bar in the Caribbean style (with the statement of the owners), is in summer, the favorite place of appointment of the young people to the fashion. The atmosphere inevitably informal and is slackened there (or this would be artificial?). Self-service at midday, the evening Pachuka becomes a sizeable fish restaurant where it is good to finish the evening between friends.
