A gourmet paradise in one of the most sumptuous places in the Dolomites! You are here at an altitude of 2,200 metres, in the middle of nature, 30 minutes drive from Cortina d'Ampezzo and 1 km from Passo Giau. Situated on a terrace, the mountain offers itself to you. The restaurant opened in 1970 and is now run by Aurelio's son Gigi. A quality cuisine with a wide and tasty range of dishes. In the summer, workshops are organized on the cooking of wild plants: a botanist accompanies you to collect a flora that will soon be on your plate.

Siamo stati a cena la sera prima di Pasqua attirati dalla splendida location tutta in legno! La cena è stata un mix di emozioni per la particolarità dei piatti; intimo, ricercato ed esclusivo dai sapori eccellenti. Valore aggiunto al locale la signora Annalisa (capo sala) da subito ti fa sentire in un ambiente famigliare nonostante l'eleganza del contesto. Di certo non da meno anche tutto il resto dello staff. Che dire tornerò sicuramente! Prezzo rapportato al servizio e alla qualità offerta. Da provare assolutamente il piatto cappuccino con brioches!

Situated up a windy road in the middle of soft snowy mountains, this restaurant offers upscale food and service.

The flowered yogurt at the beginning was smokey yet light with full of flavour - which was surprising!

The yuzu dessert was bright and delicious and packed the most yuzu flavour I have had in a dish - finally!

Come location non si può dire nulla .. chalet ristrutturato con abbondanza di legno e ampia vetrata che ti fa godere della splendida vista .. quanto al mangiare prodotti ricercati e abbinati con gusto, un po’ scarsi nelle porzioni e soprattutto privo di una minima tovaglietta anche per appoggiare le posate .
Nota dolente ristorante di livello che serve acqua filtrata .. prezzo un po’ alto
