Open to the valley bordered by the peaks of the Cristallo, Anteo and Faloria, Cortina is a safe bet for those who are fond of tradition and do not give up a certain class. The restaurant, with its elegant wooded rooms, offers the best of local culinary specialities, concocted with love. Here you can try the filet with speck or the potato and lard ravioli and, in season, tempting game recipes and fresh mushroom dishes. Also hotel: the rooms are warm and welcoming.

A rather rare address in Cortina, and above all a practical and inexpensive stop for a snack in the heart of the resort. In this unpretentious and well-located shop, pizzas are prepared to take away, even if, in summer and winter, a few small outdoor and indoor tables also allow you to sit on the terrace to enjoy your share on the spot. Nothing to say about the quality. The pizzas have a thin and crunchy dough, the toppings are generous, with a choice of tomatoes, mozzarella, mushrooms, salami, peppers and ricotta, among others.

In the city center, here is Il Vizietto, a good restaurant that manages to bring together in the plate local products that, a priori, were not necessarily programmed to meet in the kitchen. Most of the dishes cultivate the pluralism of flavors, like the local sausage with a Mediterranean risotto, the lamb chops with red fruits or the tuna tartar with burrata. Speaking of cheese, cheesecake is a hit for dessert. Also try the chocolate fondant, a real treat.

Excellent products served in a typical, welcoming setting, and sourced from kilometer zero since we're on anagroturismo concept. If you're not planning to try out the restaurant (which, however, is well worth the detour on its own), take a moment to wander through this soothing larch forest, sample the region's best hot chocolate and sit out on the terrace to enjoy a delicious moment, high above the Ampezzo valley. You could even fill up on their delicious artisan cheeses.

The restaurant of the Ghedina lake is located in a fairy-tale place, which we advise you to reach on foot, through mountains and forests (see " Stroll > Ghedina lake). The main attraction of this place is the lakeside chalet, with its amazing blue-green colours in summer. A la carte, specialities of grilled meats (the most prestigious) on hot stone. On sunny days, a terrace also allows you to take a moment to relax and prolong your lunch and enjoy the magic of the panorama on the lake.

A gourmet paradise in one of the most sumptuous places in the Dolomites! You are here at an altitude of 2,200 metres, in the middle of nature, 30 minutes drive from Cortina d'Ampezzo and 1 km from Passo Giau. Situated on a terrace, the mountain offers itself to you. The restaurant opened in 1970 and is now run by Aurelio's son Gigi. A quality cuisine with a wide and tasty range of dishes. In the summer, workshops are organized on the cooking of wild plants. A botanist accompanies you to collect a flora that will soon be on your plate

It's one of the best tables in town. If the room is not very bright and the mountain chalet decoration is inevitably a bit kitsch, the plate is delicious and copious and the service is impeccable. A la carte, Venetian specialities adapted to the season. Special mention for the tasty sliced beef and its red fruit sauce. The house speciality remains nevertheless the grilled meat, minimum 500 grams all the same! The wine list matches the dishes and offers a large choice of Italian vintages. The homemade desserts are also tempting.

A modern restaurant and design bar. Good atmosphere, breakfast cappuccino and morning brioch, evening cocktails when the atmosphere is animated, passing through the pasta plates and especially raw ham, some of which are refined for 16 or 24 months, other smoked fire. A real specialty that differentiates it from its neighbors.

A good trattoria pizzeria a little eccentric, with a nice atmosphere and the welcome to the Italian boss. Guests who visit the place for homemade pasta dishes, especially.
