The Eurovélo 8, or Mediterranean cycle route, which links Cadiz to Athens, i.e. 5,388 km, and Pirinexus, the cross-border cycle touring loop between Southern Catalonia and Northern Catalonia, i.e. 353 km, meet in Le Boulou. For decades, this structure has been breeding horses and ponies that it rents out to riders, with a loyal clientele that has followed it from the beginning. Lovers of backhand and forehand shots, Toulouse offers thirteen sets of outdoor courts with free access in the following areas: Ponts-Jumeaux, Sesquières, les Argoulets, Bagatelle, Bellevue, Lalande, le Mirail, le Parc des Sports, Rangueil, la Reynerie, la Ramée, Struxiano stadium and Valmy stadium. Installed in the heart of Les Minimes, Ultrajump is a little more than a simple indoor trampoline park. It has been set up as a parkour ground, this urban discipline which consists in jumping from one point to another. You can exercise alone or with your family, the discipline being accessible from the age of six. Different modules are installed to vary the pleasures: a slackline to work on balance, "trampo baskets", three "trampo walls" to alternate jumps and rebounds on flexible walls. Enough to fill up with positive energy!

In the Pyrenees-Orientales, the great West is the Capcir. Claire, Yves and their son will take you on horseback through the great wild spaces during one day or more rides with bivouac in the nature or night in a gîte. On the menu: discovery of the Garrotxes, tour of Carlit, stag bellowing, Bouillouses lake... The horses raised in large parks in semi-freedom transhume twice a year on the mountain paths, since their youngest age, to connect the summer pastures in altitude and those of winter in the scrublands of Fenouillèdes.

"One name, two worlds": climbing and jaja! A 400^m2 bouldering room where you can move around without ropes or harnesses. A real cellar where our climbers produce red, white and rosé wines. Finally, a relaxation area to quench your thirst or have lunch after a good sweaty session. The whole team is there to welcome you, to supervise you and to help you in your progression: courses, training courses... All the information is on the website. Le Petit Futé loved this original idea of mixing vine and rock and wishes long life to La Grappe Escalade.

Fun Bike Center is first and foremost a bicycle shop. But to explore the paths of Vallespir, you can rent electric mountain bikes from Haibike, model 2018. The whole team of the shop is also there to guide you towards the trails and loops marked out according to your level. And in the area, there is no shortage of paths and trails and they will take you up to the border ridges at an altitude of over 1000 m. We welcome this initiative as it is the only mountain bike and VTAE rental shop in the Vallespir.

The Mountain Bike-FFC Catalan Pyrenees area has more than 40 approved circuits on more than 690 km of tracks and trails... so get in the saddle!

On the road between Mont Louis and Les Angles nestle the stables of Sabine. This horsewoman offers riding lessons, pony rental and finally horse rides to discover the Matte forest or the shores of Lake Matemale. We have been as much touched by the seriousness and professionalism of this equestrian centre as by the attention paid to animal welfare. Sabine makes it a point of honour. In the catalogue you can rent skis or electric mountain bikes for free or supervised practice, all the material and equipment for laser biathlon or paragliding. An urban golf course accessible by bus? Toulouse has done it, with Golf de Garonne, opening in 2019. Here you are just a few minutes from the city center, in a quiet setting on the banks of the Garonne: 17 hectares of a compact course, ideal when you want to play with little time to spare. A regional training center, it is aimed at beginners as well as experienced players, whether able-bodied or disabled. The 20-station driving range, 10 of which are covered, has a depth of 300 meters. There's also a panoramic restaurant with an attractive terrace.

The Golf de Salies-du-Salat is located a short distance from the centre. It has a nine-hole course approved by the French Golf Federation, a driving range with seven posts extending over a length of 240 metres, as well as a putting green. You can also have a drink or a meal in the club house. If you stay for a longer period of time in the beautiful town of Salies-du-Salat, it is of course possible to take lessons and participate in competitions. A nice course accessible to everyone, in a very beautiful setting.

With 18 courses approved by the French Mini-Golf Federation, this Balaruc establishment attracts young and old (from age 6) looking for a fun activity to share with family and friends. On beautiful summer evenings, the courses are floodlit to make the most of the evening. Between rounds, you can cool off at the bar, or melt for an ice cream for those with a sweet tooth. The mini-golf course has clubs to suit every size of player.

Be careful, this route starting from Nîmes is really reserved for quasi-professionals and may require several stages to complete, but mountain bike fanatics should love it. Indeed, the Circuit du Mont-Aigoual is spread over 90 kilometers and a difference in altitude of 800 meters! Covering a multitude of communes (Le Vigan, Saint-Guiral, Bramabiau, etc.), it offers a whole panel of typical Languedoc landscapes and has almost become a national reference of its kind.

Real pros in the field of road and mountain biking, they are perfect for maintenance, advice, good tips and even sales since you will find leading brands like Moustache, Trek, Gitane or Kona. They were pioneers in the rental of electric bikes in the resort, but you will also find VTC, FatBike, mountain bikes, city bikes...

For the uninitiated, these machines could be described as scooters, even if their wheels have a somewhat atypical appearance. And while we're on the subject of atypical, it's worth noting that the only thing you'll have to worry about are blades of grass: in Barèges, it's trottinherbes that get you around! However, the pleasure of handling the handlebars soon takes over, and it has to be said that hurtling down the Col du Tourmalet in this way lends a spectacular dimension. A must in the Pyrenees, as you'd expect!

At an altitude of 1,000 meters, Gèdre is not lacking in resources or activities. One of the most popular is without a doubt the ice rink. Rachel and Bruno invite you to discover, on donkeyback, the magnificent, authentic and wild nature of the Larzac plateau, from the small, typically Caussenard village of La Vacquerie. Cirques, canyons and ruiniform landscapes, waterfalls, menhirs and dolmens are all off the beaten track. Thierry's bike park is rather vast: 160 bikes for the big and small, the cool and the sporty. The Montbazinois Tennis Club has two lighted outdoor courts for year-round practice. With its tennis school for children, it has been training many new players for years. Whether you want to practice a leisure activity or for competition, in individual lessons, with a formula of several lessons or in the form of tennis training courses, for children from kindergarten onwards and for adults: everyone finds a suitable formula. The youth and adult competition teams are well represented in all categories.

A family address par excellence, Pirateland is both a water park where little sailors can cool off and a fun mini-golf course. A golf course with beautiful dimensions (6 400 m of course, 18 holes, par 72, which makes it the longest of the region) at 10 minutes of the city center of Montauban... The course, marked out by many water levels, designed by Yves Bureau, a renowned golf architect, includes a section shaded by hundred-year-old oaks, around the Pra de L'Estang manor. All in all, a beautiful wooded area, for this magnificent peri-urban site. In the club-house of the golf, discover also the shop.

The forests of the Black Mountain, the Grésigne and the Sidobre offer majesteueux spaces, where the hunters will be happy and can enjoy their passion in all its forms. In fact, fox hunting, mass game hunting or solo hunting are practiced. You can hunt on small game (hare, quail or woodcock) and big game like wild boar, deer or deer. 

Up in Tordères, come and discover the pleasure of riding a donkey in this farm where you can also spend time with the other animals. You will also discover sheep, goats, llamas, aviaries with pheasants, pigeons and ducks. You can rent one or more donkeys to discover the Aspres at the rhythm of his steps, he will be equipped with a pack to carry your bags and your picnic. Seven hiking trails have been created, including the Art Nature trail. In the centre of Latouille-Lentillac, to the left of the church, a small path climbs up to the locality of Larraufie where the walk starts. The Art Nature path is a real museum in the woods, combined with a botanical path. Set in the heart of the Causse forest, this area is designed for keen and experienced cyclists as well as amateurs and beginners. This environmentally-friendly mountain bike park is divided into three routes, each accessible according to age and level. The first has been designed and made safe for toddlers. The second, with two workshops and three natural obstacles, is reserved for 5 to 8 year-olds. The third circuit, just over a kilometer long, is punctuated by a footbridge and numerous obstacles to appeal to the over 8s. Sensations for the whole family.

What are these "phosphatières"? They are, in fact, old mines whose exploitation during the ^19th century led to the unsuspected discovery of fossils over 30 million years old! Accompanied by a guide, you gradually make your way into the heart of this open-air cave, where the tropical atmosphere is truly exotic! Then venture off on your own into the various themed areas, before finishing off with a moment of relaxation in the picnic area set aside for the occasion.

No need to have an excellent level to be fun on wild and cabossées tracks! The proof is with this ATV circuit. Easy to access, ideal even for families, it offers you in spite of all beautiful paths and a good stony descent to St. Lawrence Creek: caution! At the pace of your pedals, you discover the rich historical heritage of the surrounding municipalities and hamlets. In particular, you go to Saillagol, two-thirds of the course; if you are tired, make a short stop: you may find some dogs or cats happy to get caresser!

At the end of March, the town of Alès receives one of the rare races of races against the watch organised in the Hexagon, and takes place between the city and the Belvedere. You have understood: the climb is sporty! But if you are driven and the final coast of 1,2 km is not cold in your eyes, rush! The opportunity is ideal for measuring to others, but also - and above all - for yourself, in a cosy and warm atmosphere. And whatever your time, remember that the most important thing is to participate!

Every year in early June, cyclists gather for the Montée du Géant, an event in the Hautes-Pyrénées that celebrates the ascent of the Le Géant statue to 2,115 m altitude on the Tourmalet. Designed by Jean-Bernard Métais, the statue honors all the cyclists who have tackled this climb in the Tour de France, including Octave Lapize, the first rider to do so in 1910. It's an opportunity to make a unique ascent, which the bravest cyclists do by the strength of their calves.

There are ten signposted walks starting from Rieumes, representing one hundred and twenty kilometres of paths. Seven of them meander through the valley and present no particular difficulty, so they are perfect for family outings, while three others cover the hillsides and require a little more effort, which is quickly rewarded by the panorama. You will find details of the routes, information and safety instructions at the tourist information office.

Through the Ball Sport Club, Barrie Dickman is involved in the development of snooker practice in the region. In addition to the three snooker tables, the address also offers two American pools and five pools. Even the children are entitled to quote as many games, including a small pool, a snooker, a football, a pinball and ping pong tables have been installed for them. An Internet cafe with a large screen satellite TV, to follow sports events, completes the offer.

Association born in 1990 of the fusion between SA Béziers and AS Causses-and-Veyran athletics. This constantly growing club has won different titles as a champion of France. It is open to anyone wishing to practice athletics, cross-country and race on foot. AS Vo Causses Athletics also organizes competitions, including the road race of 10 kilometres from the Sun in Béziers - mid-March.

The practice of this sport, often considered incorrectly as a street combat sport, is not reserved for men! The proof is a woman, Nathalie Trottin, a state graduate and several times champion of the Karate World Cup. At the age of 4, young and younger people follow courses organized in groups of level according to its competition or leisure objective. The club is a member of the French Karate Federation. For more information, do not hesitate to call or go on the spot during training hours on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 17 am to 22 pm at the gymnasium De.

Former coach of the France team, Lee Won Sik was promoted to traditional federal technical director, the highest position in the hierarchy.

Thus, its training is among the best that you can have in France. The courses are aimed at children - from age 4 - to men, women and veterans. They are being held throughout the week.

The club, which is a member of the French Cycling Federation, has around sixty members of all ages. Every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, training starts at the Béziers wine cooperative. The riders, supervised by a team of three Federation-certified instructors, cover distances of around one hundred kilometers. The VCCB, Vélo Club des Cheminots du Biterrois, takes part in all competitions in the south of France. There is no membership fee, just a license fee.
