Because Lozere is a huge playground, Lozere Nature offers a lot of activities to play on the cliffs, underground or on the water. Along the Stevenson trail, Tramontane rents out a dozen donkeys for day hikes or longer. A small gîte close to her house can accommodate up to 5 hikers or holidaymakers, before offering advice on the choice of itineraries. Walks can be accompanied. The donkeys are adorable, and the information provided is sufficient for a trouble-free hike.

The association aims to teach the different techniques of fishing, knowledge and respect for the environment through the discovery of the aquatic and mountain environment. Over 2 km, the craziest of circuits, with unique and unusual landscapes. In the heart of cliffs and gorges, 16 zip lines from 40 to 260 m long, 4 Nepalese bridges and 11 via ferrata. It's a fabulous place to be, and to be able to do it in this way makes for a truly unique experience. In around two hours, you'll have your eyes full, with the Gave de Pau as a backdrop and its waterfalls topped by fantastic basins. Some gorges are inaccessible by any other route. Equestrian Tourism Guide (ATE), Christian is waiting for you to make you discover the paths of the Cirque de Gavarnie in complete safety. His horses, of Mérens race are perfectly educated and adapted. The merens is native of the High Valley of Ariège, in the Pyrenees. Agile, not too big and with a sure footedness, it is the versatile horse par excellence, an expert in hiking. It has drawn its qualities from the mountains: rustic, it supports well the climate of Gavarnie.

Go for the thrill of the two 130 m-long zip lines over Lac de la Cavayère! Or to test your balance on the courses designed for groups or individuals. In a natural setting suited to all ages, you'll zip from tree to tree, along an itinerary named after animals or colors, crescendoing in difficulty... and height! Don't panic, the harness and ropes will hold you in place in the event of a fall - safety is no joke here. Each course lasts around 2h30.

Equipment hire, à la carte activities, holiday packages... A team of sports professionals has tested and perfected an impressive range of activities between rock and canyon. In the water, these qualified instructors train their students in canoeing, rafting, canyoning... For over 35 years, the Office des Sports de Montagne has been offering a wide range of activities to satisfy visitors' thirst for adventure. Forerunners in canyoning, they introduced the first all-inclusive packages for these activities. They also offer year-round outdoor activities such as via ferrata, water trekking in Spain, rafting on the Neste d'Aure, downhill scootering, paragliding, snowshoe trekking, and much more!

No need to have a perfect swing to be able to play on these courses. Two 18-hole courses with 36 synthetic turf tracks in a tropical environment of nearly 5,000 m² are located along the water's edge, fed by small waterfalls. The 4 year olds are entitled to clubs of their own size, which facilitates movement. The place is planted with trees and is very exotic, a snack bar with terrace welcomes you for the small thirsts. Amateur or professional, you are sure to have a good time.

At Vacquerolles, the golf course is on the edge of town, in the eponymous district, which is growing steadily. The golf course, designed by architect Bill Baker, fills the combe and defines a demanding course, making it the venue for numerous federal competitions. It appears as a green lung in this residential area. The mild climate makes it an ideal place for golfers who want to combine sport with a vacation. The Vacquerolles golf course is open to beginners and offers different levels of difficulty. Green fees can be booked online. For total comfort, well-equipped studios can be rented on site, as can the equipment, in the calm of the garrigue and its Provencal scents.

An invitation to travel, this miniature golf course is one of the largest in the region with its 5,000 m² of exotic vegetation. Open very late in the season, this place offers its visitors two 18-hole courses on green carpet. With the famous Route 66 as a backdrop, California (palm trees, waterfalls, lakes and rivers) or Arizona (gold rush atmosphere, mine, western village), you can travel through the American West while having fun. It's the ideal place to get together with family or friends after a day at the beach.

This exceptional leisure park offers adventure from the age of 2. In the heart of nature, you can enjoy the changing foliage of the hundred-year-old trees that shelter the courses. Parents can also share the activity with their children, thanks to the 3 family trails. Otherwise, a stroll is an excellent compromise. We sneak under the Aleppo pines, olive trees and oaks, among the frigoule, the sariette and the lupin to find the donkeys of the association. Beau Nez d'Âne allows young and old to hike with a donkey around the abbey St-Félix-de-Montceau. The adventurers choose a mount to put their child or luggage (max 35 kg) on its back. Then a host provides a map of the paths and advice on how to walk. Then it is enough to leave with these affectionate companions. In summer, the association organizes picnics and moonlight rides. What a poem!

The walk is a little long (2 h 30) and presents some small difficulties: We recommend it more to seasoned brin than novice hikers. However, don't expect to sweat blood and water! The departure is given in Port-Blab, at the level of the ruined military buildings. Already, the tower takes pride in the distance: here you will immediately get into the bath. Then, between tracks and paths, your itinerary leads you to sumptuous points of view, here on the seaside resorts of Argelès-sur-Mer, Saint-Cyprien or Canet, there on the Corbières chain, further on the vineyards on the hillside.

This club, created in 1977, is a growing success for its federation. It has more than 180 licensees, including more than 30 black belts. The Golf d'Eauze Grand Armagnac is better known locally as the Golf de Guinlet. It has been in existence since 1986 and has built up a loyal local clientele of golf enthusiasts. The demanding and hilly 18-hole course stretches over 5675 meters. The course is wooded and decorated with well placed bunkers or greens defended by water hazards. The course is part of a large recreational complex with a restaurant, residence, swimming pool, tennis court and boutique.

The Monts d'Aubrac equestrian centre puts its animals, horses and ponies at the service of made-to-measure discoveries. In addition to introductory sessions, courses and lessons, it offers accompanied rides through the great outdoors, as well as training courses. In these cases, we sleep in the gîte of the equestrian farm. The mistress of the house, who is as comfortable in the kitchen as she is at the reception, provides the meals: sausage and truffade, Aubrac aligot meat, Aubrac tea, blueberries?

Four horse and donkey owners have joined together to make you discover the surroundings of Gavarnie. It is surely the address of the nicest horse rides you will find in the area. Several formulas are offered to you, from the discovery walk to a longer one which allows you to reach the waterfall or to have a picnic. But be careful, you can't visit the Pyrenees National Park, because animals are forbidden.

Here is a real farm with cows, pigs, sheep, rabbits and chickens, but above all 40 fluffy donkeys with tender eyes. Even the mule heads will fall for these cadichons which prove to be excellent companions on the road. They are docile and adapted to hiking. It is in the company of these charming donkeys that you will do the circuit of the Romanesque churches with a stop at the castle of Lordat and its eagles or an incursion in the heart of the reserve of Orlu or a "donkey" expedition of 2 or 3 days to the lake of En Beys.

The Ifers estate occupies a large deciduous forest and hides some beautiful mushrooms, as well as a track where you can try your hand at driving crawlers - mini cars equipped with electric motors and radio controls. The Ifers also offer canoe trips departing from Saint-Geniez. You can sleep in one of the cabins perched 6 m above ground in the forest. Access by a short walk through the woods, annex with toilet and washbasin, solar lighting.

Novice or experienced, all golfers will appreciate the panoramic views, the naturally undulating course offering a multitude of playing situations and the exceptional location at over 1,800 meters altitude of this 9-hole, par 36, 2,517 m long golf course. The 9-hole sanctioned course (one of the highest in Europe) is very uneven, with a succession of up and down fairways. Intensive and relaxation courses, competitions from June to the end of September and, in winter, a snow golf tournament with small orange balls.

The Tour of Capcir in 6 days is possible with Bruno and Claudine. The time of your hike, it is a pack donkey which carries your pack. Night in a gîte, bivouac or evening around the fire, for itinerant stays close to nature. Stays are organized specifically for children from 7 to 14 years, the discovery of the mountain of plants and its wildlife, they love it and ask for more. Just a stone's throw from the castle, the Montal golf course is a privileged place where you can practice while enjoying the view of the Montal castle and the Saint-Laurent towers. The 9-hole course is laid out on a terrace to climb gradually up the north slope of the Césarines. The golf course has its own school where youngsters can learn by having free access to the equipment. At the club-house, you will be warmly welcomed and you will be able to eat and drink between your training sessions or after your round.

Mondovelo Prades isn't just a store where you can share your passion for cycling, it's also the only place in the region to rent electrically-assisted bikes. You can choose between 3 ranges: the VTC, the semi-rigid mountain bike or the full-suspension mountain bike. At last, an address that will make the beautiful trails leading up to the Canigó via the Cortalets refuge accessible! And for old-fashioned handlebar enthusiasts, you can also rent racing bikes. Located north of Sougraigne, in the heart of the Hautes Corbières, the archaeological site of the Salines glassworks, built around 1650, was in operation until 1765. Here, the Sals, a salty spring, was once frequented by glassmakers, jet miners, charcoal burners, lumberjacks, shepherds, peddlers and, of course, smugglers and gabelous on their heels. Discover this historic site, the glass workshop, and learn what life was like in the days of the Gabelle.

A dozen marked hiking trails (from 5.5 to 18.5 kilometers) allow you to discover the country of the Two Shores around Valence d'Agen, Goudourville, Espalais or Auvillar... The paths, accessible to all, are practicable on foot, bike or horseback. The circuits must be requested from the tourist offices of the Deux-Rives district (Valence, Auvillar, Donzac). They will provide you with maps and charts even if everything is signposted.

The Équestre Equestrian Centre is located five minutes from the city centre, within the riding complex of the town of Montauban, close to the racecourse and the national stud-gate. The centre offers sports and entertainment activities: CSO (obstacle contest contest), training, internships with exams (Gallop 1 to 7), hiking, endurances, pony games and walks organised in whole days. Amazing outlet of everyday worries!

The Golf de Montauban Les Aiguillons offers a flat and wooded course which spreads its fairways over some 5 720 meters. A 9-hole course of medium difficulty, it is embellished with numerous water obstacles (six large lakes with a total surface area of over 8 hectares). The major interest of the site is to be barely 10 minutes from the city center, which remains one of the assets of the city of Ingres: not having really an urban area, you can quickly have your feet in the grass.

France's first eco-golf course, this eco-responsible facility is set in 6 hectares of splendid natural surroundings. It features an 18-hole course, a Pitch and Putt, and a 14-workshop circuit on the driving range, equipped with 30 mats including 10 covered stations. So you can swing on 3 courses for all publics. A grass area, putting green and approach green complete the facilities. All levels are catered for, in a family-friendly, intergenerational atmosphere. Les Terrasses de l'Écogolf bar-restaurant is the place to be before or after your round.

Nathalie Bohin, guide and equestrian tourism guide, and François Meyer welcome you to their equestrian farm-center. They breed themselves on 30ha of organic meadows and natural shelters, Arabian thoroughbreds, Castillonnais and Landes ponies. Discover the Volvestre region. Themed walks to admire the Pyrenees chain on the trail of the peaks, to go through the history on the trail of glassmakers. The farm has 6 camping sites and a rural gîte with a capacity of 20 people. Nice choice of 100% organic and local products.

Created in the 1980s by Charles de Ginestet, the Laloubère golf course has become a must for golf enthusiasts. Upgraded to 18 holes in 1990, the site, managed by his son Yves since 1992, now boasts over 650 members. With a renowned golf school, a partnership with the town for schoolchildren and over 100 days of competitions, including the Tarbes Open, the Golf des Tumulus continues to develop, promising many future projects. The 18-hole course takes 2 hours to complete and can be played in 70 strokes.

Séverine, guide and riding instructor, offers excursions through the surrounding mountains, suitable for all ages and levels of rider. Discovering the Lienz plateau is ideal for all participants, whether you're a beginner or an experienced rider, there's something for everyone. At an altitude of 1,550 metres, it's advisable to check the weather on your call, as there can be differences between the weather in the valley and that in the estives. One-, two- and three-hour rides are available.

Inaugurated in 1998, the golf course is located on a hilly site surrounded by a forest of fir trees. The 18-hole course is 5,600 meters long, rather sporty but accessible to all levels. It takes about 4 hours to complete. Many services are available on the site: putting green, practice range, cart rental. You can take private lessons and a free initiation is planned every first Saturday of the month.

At the gateway to Bigorre, the countryside reveals its charm through 18 signposted walking loops, offering an immersion into the canton of Rabastens, with the chance to discover its flora, fauna and local heritage. The area boasts a wealth of landscapes, from hillsides to forests. In all, there are 170 kilometers to explore on foot or mountain bike. Don't forget to venture out on the famous Adour trail, but be sure to visit www.adouretaffluents.fr, as the water can sometimes be capricious.

The tourist office provides you with all the documents relating to the Nestier-Lombres-Montegut cultural circuit. A detailed map showing the five signposted hiking trails will guide you through the paths of the Neste canton. From the easy 12 km route to the more extensive 30 km route. Explore the different eras of history, from prehistory to more recent times, with sites such as the Mont Arès monastery. Along the way you'll see Celtic and Roman remains.

The Mazamet golf course covers 54 hectares. Two rivers intertwine, the Thoré to the west, and the Issalè, which crosses it from east to west. The golf course could just as well be a botanical park, or even an arboretum, with over twenty local species and 53 imported ones. Long limited to 9 holes, the course has been successfully extended to 18 holes. Since 1959, this Scottish-style layout has enjoyed a superb location at the foot of Montagne Noire.

Reputed to be one of the best courses in the Midi-Pyrénées, this natural golf course combines technical and visual pleasure. Designed by Mark Hawtree, a British architect, it is built around twelve ponds, making the course technical but very pleasant to play: beginners as well as high level players will be delighted with this very natural 18-hole course. To train, there is a driving range on water, with 25 posts, 3 of which are covered, and a grassy area. The Douze Etangs restaurant completes the picture with flavour and harmony.

At the exit of the city, in the heart of the Gourjade park, the architect Yves Bureau was able to integrate the Castres golf course with the historical and natural beauty of the area. The complex includes a 9-hole competition course that crosses the Agoût river. A beautiful driving range with 36 posts, 16 of which are covered, and a 3-hole practice course that will delight beginners, near a beautiful ^19th century residence. The area also offers training courses, beginners' courses, advanced courses and competitions. 25 hectares of leisure and pleasure all year round.
