This disused former railroad line, inaugurated in 1893, has been converted into a 33-kilometer greenway. Condom is the starting point, with a 21 km link to Lagraulet-du-Gers. Cazeneuve is 8 km from Eauze. This bucolic route is within easy reach of major tourist sites such as Larressingle, Mouchan, the hamlet of Vopillon and Montréal-du-Gers.

In the mountains, the small village of Prats-de-Mollo offers a thousand years of history to discover. Browse the ramparts to atteintre the castle's cannons, take the underground passages to access the best hidden clues, and this small village with Hispanic sonorité will have no secrets for you! Two tours in one! At the beginning of Brie, this divisible course in two parts pace up the area surrounding the town and the valley of Lavra. The first loop leaves south in a wooded area, while the second, in the east, climbs to the slopes of Terrefort, offering on the way an excellent views of the Pyrenees (at least weather permitting). If 8 km are too long walk for you, choose à la carte, the option that suits you best!

Because it's necessary for all levels, we're integrating a little more difficult mountain bike route into our selection of walks. At the beginning of Saint-Félix-de-Rieutord, it takes you to the hilly landscape of the "massif. So prepare yourself to face some climbs. the cross of the Cross and the Col Pass are perhaps the most fearsome, but you will be rewarded with beautiful panoramas on the Pyrenees, and of course the ensuing raids!

The Escalade climbing site is one of the most well-known and experienced in the French Pyrenees. It is located in four limestone sites around the municipalities of Bédeilhac, Surba and Rabbat. It offers beginner climbers as well as the pleasure of moving on to varied walls of difficulty. All are equipped with good quality equipment, with studs or seals.

The largest Calamès site has 220 tracks, from 3 c to 8 b +: It lends itself both to initiation and to climbing. Exposed to the south, it enjoys a pleasant ensolleillement; but mistrust in case of heavy heat, because only the area of the caves is shaded.

This is the circuit No. 10 of the ATV trails developed by the tourist office of Saint-Affricain, and it starts from Saint-Izaire. Since you are here, we invite you, before climbing, to visit the village and its episcopal castle: the whole one deserves a look. Are you ready? Then climb your car and go to Riols, where you will cross the intriguing statue-menhir. The less brave can stop there and take the path of return by joining the Saint-Affrique-Albi line, while the others will continue towards the pond of Chur, 4 kilometers later. These will then return to a good port by taking the shaded road of Black Wood, which will lead them to a remarkable point of view at the height of Sermet.

Departure in Versols-et-Lapeyre for this mountain biking route, the eighth circuit developed by the tourist office of Saint-Affricain. Before climbing, a visit of Versols is necessary to immerse you with the charm of this fortified village and to discover its castle. Your itinerary will then take you on both sides of the Verzolet Creek, which will accompany you all along. Easy to access and low uneven (130 metres), it presents itself as a good option for a family outing.

Only atvs are allowed on this trail, and all cyclists are forced to ride in the same direction, assuring you safety and serenity if you are accompanied by children. At the beginning of the Oustalet area, close to the pony-club, the loop evolves on a wooded road sheltered from the wind. A few descents are your journey, for the delight of the youngest and least trained. As for those who were waiting for the right place to stop, you will find it when you face the Eye of the Eye panel: a few hundred metres to walk, and you will be there!

On this easy walk through the heart of the town, you will quickly understand why stone and art are the emblems of Moissac. Starting from the cloister, you will slowly make your way towards the Saint-Pierre abbey church and the tympanum, then, before continuing to the Place des Récollets, make a detour to the former abbey palace. Then take successively the rue du Général-Gras, the rue des Arts and the rue Sainte-Catherine, without missing the beautiful Saint-Jacques church on the way.

On foot or by bike, go to Boudou for this outing to the birds. From the bridge of Coudol you are quickly heading to the leisure base of Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Grave, from which you will enjoy a privileged point of view on the same name, formed by the confluence of the Tarn and the Garonne. If the place is ideal for the practice of nautical activities, it is also a large ornithological reserve, recognized for the diversity of bird species that inhabit it. The observatory is a little further away; to reach it, you will have to walk along the banks of the Garonne over two kilometres. Then continue to the village of Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Grave, before you go back.

Since 2011, Albi has hosted a new recreation base: that of Cantepau. Free access and open all year round, it has many sporting facilities that will make the athletes in the corner happy! Between the fields of bicross, mountain biking, tennis, football or beach volleyball, the space is a health course. Far from the sports venues, let us admit that the physical exercise in this natural setting along the Tarn is very nice. A playground and picnic area are also available.

Here is an urban hike, accessible in the middle of the city, and yet in the nature, along the Tarn and the Caussels. These three trails take you through a preserved and maintained country setting for 7 kilometers along the GR 36. The "sentier des Berges" first links the cathedral parking lot to the mouth of the Caussels stream, then gives way to the "Sentier sauvage", between the Pont-Neuf and the avenue du Loirat. Finally, the Mouline trail ends the loop, stretching to the Planques parking lot.

If you live Albi, perhaps you have already noticed some explanatory panels installed here and there on the streets of the old center. They are, in fact, three discovery courses for the curious and urban walkers. Would you like to explore Castelviel, Castelnau and Bourg Saint-Salvi? Follow the purple circuit! Do you prefer Patus Cremat and Vigan? Then choose the golden color loop. If you want to cross the banks of the Tarn and the Combes, it will be the Azur circuit! Accessible even to the youngest, they will give you an hour and a half of walking, good insights of the emblematic places of the old town.

From Castres, the path of the little train of Lacaune invites you to hike in a bucolic setting, partly along the Agoût river. Gardens, streams, undergrowth and small bridges are on the program - be careful with children when you overhang the river. After eight kilometers of walking, jogging or biking, you will reach the medieval village of Burlats. In addition to its several monuments, you will find toilets and a water point. The more athletic walkers can continue the hike towards Lacaune.

This greenway follows the path of the old railway line that once linked Carmaux to the Découverte mine. Today, the rails have given way to a pleasant shady walk and the mine to a rather complete leisure centre. With 35 kilometres of free cycle paths, it will allow you to continue your physical effort a little longer. The only drawback is that the surface is not ideal for rollerblades.

If this Véloroute starts in Saint-Cirq-Madelon, it ends exactly at the Écoute s'il Pleut lake, at the entrance of Gourdon. So don't expect to connect the two villages. If you are looking for a nice bike ride, on the other hand, this walk in Bouriane will satisfy you. Pleasant, its itinerary evolves on small roads that are safer than the average, so much so that it is almost like a Voie verte.

Starting from the Col du Soulor, two discovery trails follow one another to reveal the wonders of this magnificent mountain site, which is also a migratory passage for birds. You begin your exploration at an altitude of 1,474 meters on the sentier des Rapaces, which takes 45 minutes to complete. Featuring five informative panels, it guides you to the La Tachouère restaurant, showing you how to recognize the different species. Then the Passereaux trail (1h30) takes over, offering a more playful route through the forest.

To speak of the "Battle of Le Boulou" would be a little bit wrong since the site actually saw two battles, one in 1793 and the other in 1794. Both occurred during the Roussillon War, during the wars of the French Revolution of the First Coalition. That's it for the few introductory words; for the rest, refer to the 18 explanatory panels that mark out the route, they will allow everyone to understand the history of the place.

Set off on a relatively easy 6.1 km hike. The route follows the ridge between the Hérault and Rieutord valleys. Start at Sumène in the Gard department. From Avenue de la Gare, head for Cap de Coste via Pont-Grand. Le Serre will soon be signposted, so keep following the signs. You'll eventually reach your starting point via Rue du Coin, then cross Pont-Grand again.

Come and meet the Lord of lozériennes forests: chestnut. At the beginning of Molezon, this easy 2,5 kilometre trail evolves in full nature between streams, forest, terraces and stone walls. At the end of the journey you can reach a restored mas in which you can enjoy a 40-minute audio show from mid-June to mid-September on the oral memory of the French Valley. However, if you can, we particularly recommend this walk in the autumn: The colours are of all beauty, and you can enjoy a few chestnuts and mushrooms!

Located in the Causse de Mende, this health course has 20 stations, each with an explanatory panel to familiarize you with physical exercise. Thus, before you get involved, take the time to understand the effects of each movement on your organization. In the middle of the countryside, you are surrounded by beautiful landscapes. Enjoy the pleasures of sports and sightseeing!

Follow a charming itinerary, suitable for all walkers, with no major difficulties. Stretching over just 1.5 km, this walk invites you to explore the key points of interest in Florac, the capital of the Cévennes National Park. Guided by the murmur of the Pêcher spring, you'll visit not only the château, but also sites such as the Saint-Martin church, the former convent, the Vibron and the ferradou. Departing from the Tourist Office, the route is punctuated by 12 numbered interpretation markers.

Top start at the spa resort of Bagnols-les-Bains. This hike of some 8 kilometres will lead you first to the village of Saint-Julien-du-Tournel, where the loop begins to take you to the awaited castle of the Tournel. The trail is easy and pleasant, it evolves along the Lot valley. Do you have any doubt about your itinerary? You can rely on green markup, you can't lose!

It is the trail No. 15 of the Guide Guide Trail and its surrounding area (reference P 481). At the beginning of the sport of the sportif of the Causse de Mende, this pédestre loop brings you back to the pastoral life of the last century. As you go down, on a quiet and without difficulty path, you cross the dead villages of Gerbal and Chaumette. Short, easy and without big difference in level, this circuit reserves you a breathtaking point of view on the valley of the Lot and on the city of Capdenac-Gare. But this is not its only asset. From the parking lot of the ramparts of Capdenac-le-Haut, the itinerary leads you to the Gaulish fountain and the fountain of Caesar, two masterpieces of the historical heritage of the town. You are here on the site of the battle of Uxellodunum, the last battle of the Gallic War, in 51 BC.

On foot or by bike, this hiking loop reserves a varied and varied landscape. However, rest assured that there are no big difficulties in perspective! In a landscape of slopes and vineyards, your journey leads you in particular to the villages of Juillac and Tourdun, to close the Aménagé lake, km away. In the summer, why not complete your effort with the comfort of a swimming? With family or friends, here is an interesting option for the Sunday exit!

When you're lucky enough to live or stay at altitude, there are some physical activities that just flow out of you! Nordic hiking is a perfect example. At Col de Picotalen, there are three signposted routes for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. If you're a beginner or have little training, we recommend the shortest. Its 3.6 kilometers will already give you a great view of the snow-covered mountains. Cross-country skis, sledges and snowshoes are available for hire from the chalet.

The remarkable sequence of religious oratories dedicated to the crucifixion of Christ, which you can admire today, is largely the result of the unstinting commitment of the residents. Built in the second half of the ^19th century, the chapels were damaged during the war and then forgotten under a thicket of brambles. It wasn't until 1984 that a voluntary clearing initiative was undertaken by the villagers.

As its name suggests, this Véloroute runs along the beaches, and is only accessible by bike. Too bad for pedestrians, who will have to find another option. Built as part of a larger project that will later link Le Barcarès to Argelès-Plage, its 13 kilometers provide a pleasant opportunity for training between Le Barcarès and Canet-Plage. Made up of 70% Voie Verte, most of the track runs along the RD 81.

It's a walk like they love, which leads us to discover the natural heritage of the region by giving us, of course, some explanations about local flora. At the time of the 1,6 km course, the trail climbs up the hill to reach its peak, the television relay located near the hermitage. From here, the panoramic view lends itself to an extended stop: take the time to contemplate it. But if the spectacle is grandiose, let us not forget that of the cross-cutting vegetation: depending on soil orientation, it changes considerably!

Easy and level, it follows the Bas-Rhône-Languedoc canal for 7 kilometers. Today, this short trail is part of the "Camargue Gardoise Discovery Loop", a 17-kilometer itinerary that can be explored on foot or by bike along quiet country roads.

In Congénies, leave the Fort district and head towards the Chemin creux via the rue du Temple. Soon you will see the signpost for the start of the "Garrigue Gourmande" circuit; this route is not yours but the first part of it is common to it: follow the yellow markings.

This green trail links Saint-Martin-de-Valgalgues with the south of Alès. Starting at the Pôle Mécanique crossroads, it crosses the town along the Gardon, taking you over a distance of just 7 kilometers to the 18-Juin-1940 commemorative bridge. The smooth surface is perfect for rollerblading and skateboarding, and whatever your preferred sport, you'll be able to progress in complete safety thanks to the concrete edges.

A leisure area for multiple sensations! Argelès Aventure is a forest acrobatic park where you can evolve safely in aerial games. Looking for a more refreshing experience? Go to the canyoning park and discover its unique concept in the world: sensations of a natural canyon, with maximum safety or at the super Drop In, water slides. For the more daring, there is the "Extreme Tower" for jumps into the void of 8, 11 or 28 m!

Close to the thermal park, the minigolf course at the foot of the Bédat is one of the most majestic in France. Its 18-hole course, set in a green setting, offers a varied terrain of impeccable fairways, waterfalls, ponds and hills. Located at the exit of Saint-Girons, Eycheil is a municipality of the Regional Natural Park of the Ariègeoises Pyrenees. With its 450 hectares from west to east, at the foot of the cliffs of the Sourroque massif (1 100 m), Eycheil is the ideal starting point for various walks.

The Gèdre Hall is a small gem of its kind with 350 meters of grimpable surface! More than 18 metres high, fifteen beautiful climbing lines, string games changed every year, a block space of 6 metres long: the many routes are adapted to all levels. Access is done in total autonomy, so we have to master the techniques of assurage and string manipulation to enjoy all the possibilities. You also have to bring your straps and descendeurs because the room provides only strings and dégaines. A great potential for climbing fans!

30 km north of Uzès, the hill of Gressac overlooks the Cèze valley which flows at its feet. The Gressac estate covers 115 hectares in the Natura 2000 protected area and is one of the oldest organic wine estates in France still in operation. The Cèze river flows at the foot of the domain. The domain of Gressac is also a breeding of pure Spanish breed. The horses are born and raised in freedom and in a herd on about twenty hectares of meadow and shaded forests. They live according to the seasons, feeding mainly on fat grass, hay and organic alfalfa. The well-being of the mothers and their foals is paramount for a harmonious growth. Living outdoors does not prevent daily contact with humans. The foals are approached and handled at a very young age, which allows strong bonds to be forged and avoids that man is a stress factor, but rather a pleasure based on sharing.

Fabien Martin is an outdoor instructor and guide. He organises outings on the water, on the rocks and in the trees in Aveyron and elsewhere: climbing, viacorda, kayaking, hydrospeed, giant paddle... Since June 2020, he offers a completely unusual activity: the battle archery. A bow, arrows with a foam tip, and "fighters" who confront each other. The principle of parkrun is simple: a collective jogging, supervised and timed, each at his own pace, from beginners to the most trained. Supervised by volunteers, it is totally free. The parkrun of La Ramée offers you to meet a group of joggers on Saturday morning at the sports and leisure center of La Ramée, for a five kilometer run.
