This cheese shop needs no introduction! after 50 years (54 in fact), the current owners have been offering us a real treat for the eyes and taste buds for 10 years: the scent of the store soon awakens our stomachs! Cheeses, charcuterie, free-range poultry, creamery and game! With its maturing cellar and quality partnerships, the boutique has everything it takes to satisfy food lovers. Established in 1976, Maison Jollit is one of Rouen's finest cheese makers! As well as maturing all its own cheeses, the store has a vast selection of farmhouse cheeses from Normandy: pont-l'évêque, neufchâtel, farmhouse tomes... sourced directly from producers. Other cheeses are also well represented: vieux comté, chèvre.... Cheese lovers will find invaluable advice here. In 2018, Daniel Bourgeois even won the Grand Prix de l'Artisanat, the jury's favourite.

A great place, which changed ownership last February, with Félix taking over from Manu! We might as well say it straight away, but the characteristic smell will quickly remind you: there's little or no cheese missing here. Whatever the pasta, the origin, the flavor, the animal (goat, sheep, cow), the choice is vast, and the possibilities multiple, since this cellar offers the preparation of entire trays. In addition, eggs, other dairy products and dried fruit complete the range, which is decidedly unrivalled!

Always so much craze for these Baratineurs! Catering service at noon, aperitif on Friday and Saturday, brunch on Sunday... For the rest, you will find good home-made butter, milk, fresh cream, faisselles... from local productions and tempting cheeses! Without forgetting the delicatessen and the trendy products and especially, of the season. All washed down with cider or a local beer on the terrace. No churning here, but churning!

This gourmet grocery store offers Norman products, where cheeses play a major role: say "Olivier cheeses" to a Dieppois, and you will see a smile on his face! Nearly two hundred kinds of cheeses invade the stalls of this shop every year. Do you want a cheese for a particular day? Ask, it will be perfectly refined for your reception. In this store dedicated to the flavours of the land, you will find smoked salmon, foie gras, spices, a beautiful range of oils, vinegars and mustards, more than seventy kinds of teas always updated, many varieties of coffee roasted by the house, and of course local drinks (cider, pommeau, etc.), not to mention the superb wine cellar... A place with two addresses, a must for any palate that respects itself!

This family farm, which has been processing milk for over half a century, is in the hands of François Chedru, a rural veterinarian, and his sons, who work to produce top-quality yoghurts (winners of several medals). They have total control over the entire cycle, from forage production to cow feeding, right through to the finished product available on site. From creamy plain yoghurt to fruit yoghurt, from jellies to rice cakes, the ranges are varied and tasty. A tour of the site allows visitors to learn more about the business.

You will find in this vast space several food shops: butcher's shop, delicatessen, fruit, vegetables, grocery store, oysters from Lestre, salmon from Cherbourg, wine, cheese shop, creamery and restaurant... nothing is missing and everything is good, certified of great quality, and proposed by true connoisseurs. Little by little, the place has been adopted by the people of Cherbourg. Brunches are organised on Sundays: in summer, you can have them outside, since this street is pedestrian. A real favourite in this part of town.

Created in 1910 in the heart of the Auge region, with the emblematic Livarot cheese as its flagship product, this cheese factory has remained a family business for a long time. Eugène, Bernard, Thierry, three generations of Graindorge and a name inseparable from the AOC. In 2016, the group was sold to Lactalis, which maintained the identity and value of the company. The Cheese Village invites you to an audio-guided tour (recommended in the morning) of the cheese factory and its workshops through a corridor of glass galleries with tasting.

Fromagerie Durand is not only the last Camembert producer in the eponymous commune, it's also one of the last farmhouse producers of Camembert PDO. A raw-milk, ladle-molded Camembert made from the milk of its cows. During your visit, you'll learn all about the making of this gourmet heir to Marie Harel's famous Normandy label. And let's face it, there's no such thing as "Camembert de Normandie AOP" (the only real one)! The boutique also sells other dairy products from the farm.

Undoubtedly the only place at Le Havre where to find such a variety of cheeses! Good cheeses refined with a high degree of precision or irreproachable freshness. And if there are many cheeses, the board is well advised so you won't get lost there.

One kilometre from the village, this traditional and renowned farm produces marvellous dairy products. Divine fresh creams, yoghurts of all kinds - plain, with fruit -, smooth or country-style white cheeses, faisselles, and above all the marvellous little "Suisse Normand". There are also other jewels in the crown. The Treillebois farm also makes Camembert and two specialities of its own: Pont de Treillebois and Rougeot. Think of stopping there, even if it means making a slight detour, you won't regret it!

Here you have to go to find (among others…) the delicious cheese that bears the name of the city, but also of cider, pommel, Calvados or milk jam. You can also know that here you are gently offered a few cheeses to discover, among other products.

When you arrive in front of the Verger Carentanais, you will see the sign "Sélectionneur de saveurs" (Flavour selector): it's a good choice! Because here, it is a festival of colors, and thus of fruits and vegetables, that you will find. The products are excellent, and the quality is obviously there. We don't stop there, because here you will find excellent baskets, excellent preserves and even dairy products. In short, nothing is missing, and especially not the welcome, which is excellent. We can only recommend it.

With over 150 farmhouse cheeses, most of them made from raw milk, this delicious shop is a real treat for the taste buds. French terroir is well represented, but not exclusively. It even manages to unite Normandy and England on its shelves with its selection of English and Norman cheeses. How could it be otherwise when you're located on Rue Guillaume le Conquérant? And for the past year, the Norman identity has been further reinforced in this beautiful boutique, with a beautiful space totally dedicated to cider and Calvados.

The owners buy their products directly from regional producers to guarantee their customers the very best in French production, without charging their customers a high price for it! You're bound to be familiar with Maison Jort cheeses, among the oldest traditional cheesemakers in the Pays d'Auge. Winner of the 2015 Gold Medal at the Concours Général Agricole, the Jort brand has been setting the standard since 1888. Passion, know-how and tradition are the ingredients of its "Camembert de Normandie" PDO. Every day, milk is collected from local producers who share the same commitment to making this raw-milk, ladle-molded Camembert. Tasting recommended at the Saint-Pierre-en-Auge boutique!

Gillot Fromagerie was born in 1912 on the site it has occupied for a century in the heart of the Ornais Bocage. Six families have come together to live the real Norman cheese of tradition. Normand Lait milk is collected within a radius of 25 km and follows a path as demanding as monitored before being transformed into a PDO Pie. The quality of this milk is the result of close collaboration between the producers and the cheese factory.

This cheese dairy was founded in 1931 by Théodore Réaux. From the outset, production focused on ladle-molded Camembert made from raw milk, and the dairy opens its doors to the public. You'll visit the AOC Camembert production workshops, then move on to the molding and renneting workshop, and discover the hâloirs, the ripening cellar and the packaging line. The cheeses, which won 5 medals again this year, can be purchased in the store.
