This place is simply perfect for eating, relaxing, socialising and even working. At La Mie Paulette, we are not only in a bakery, but in a real place of life where we feel at home. Pauline and Franck knew how to make these 500^m2 warm, and our visit at Christmas literally made us travel. As for the artisanal products, breads, cakes, and their specialty "Trobons" of Alice are already a treat for the eyes. Not to mention the pizzas cooked in an oven from Verona!

Pasquier & Co, welcome to Anaïs and Fabian! Breads, viennoiseries, but also modern, homemade cakes and creative proposals. You'll find panettone, éclair au chocolat, poire Tatin, tarti'Brest and Pomme Surprise. This shortbread tart, filled with a brunoise of fruit paste and hazelnut cream, is topped with white chocolate ganache and applesauce. The whole is decorated with vanilla chantilly and a little gold leaf on top. This cake, created for their appearance on M6, is a real treat!

This charming boutique, inaugurated in August 2022, invites you to a delectable gourmet escape. From the moment you enter, the warm, rustic decor sets the scene. For those with a sweet tooth, you'll discover a whole range of artisanal products, from the essential chocolate bar to palm oil-free spreads. Not forgetting the famous babas and Harry Potter-inspired delights... Savoury connoisseurs can rest assured that the store also offers spreads and spices to delight their taste buds. This delicatessen pays tribute to culinary traditions with a whole range of products to discover.

This bakery is well known in Alençon for the quality of its products. At the helm, master craftsman Alain and Christel are committed to offering products of excellence: organic breads, but also several delicacies that are hard to find elsewhere, including the famous Pays d'Auge tart, panettone (Italian style!), Christmas jam (homemade) and the delicious teurgoule, which has won numerous awards.

For gourmets and gourmands alike, Torréfaction Dieppoise Arthur et Paul is a veritable paradise. When you open the door to this delicatessen with its deliciously vintage charm, you're immediately plunged into a whirlwind of exquisite scents. Freshly roasted coffee blends with the aromas of Bonnat chocolate and spices sold on site. Tea and herbal tea lovers are also delighted by the vast choice on offer here. On-site or online, you'll find everything you need to put together a gourmet basket to give as a gift or share with loved ones.

At last, an elegant, warm and welcoming tearoom, where you can indulge in Maud and Brice's pastries (they've been in the business for over 20 years, so you can taste these marvels with your eyes closed!) But Bibiche is so much more. Tearoom, patisserie, café gourmand and brunch, from breakfast to afternoon tea, for sweet and savoury eaters alike, the address will delight all palates and appetites. The delicacies are lovingly prepared with top-quality, seasonal and mostly local ingredients. We don't know about you, but we love it!

New in 2023, we double the pleasure with the opening of a second boutique on rue Froide. We choose this house for special occasions, or for a little comfort after a long day! ! These puffs are real jewels, renewed according to the occasions by relying on seasonal products. You can also buy some revisited sweets (caramel marshmallow bears, eclairs, Saint-Honoré) but also adorable mini choux, magnificent entremets or salted choux for your aperitifs, or even enjoy a hot chocolate on the spot.

D'oh! Donuts in Normandy! Yes, but compared to Homer Simpson's, these are artisanal and vegan friendly! No lactose, no eggs, organic, local, made on site by Melissande, natural flavors and lots of deliciousness! On the menu, over twenty flavors (chocolate, sugar, apple cinnamon, cookie cream, choco crunch...) and seasonal recipes to keep an eye on on social networks. Top it all off with savoury recipes and disco balls (bite-sized snacks you can nibble on with your eyes closed), and you've got it all!

Year after year, Rémi Chapuis' patisserie-chocolaterie remains a favourite. With your senses on alert, you wander around the store with one fixed idea in mind: try everything! You'll have to choose between the éclairs or the margaux, the macarons or the praline rochers, the chocolates with fragrant ganaches or Guillaume's Conquest, THE house specialty. Hard work! But the smile and welcome of Sandrine, the owner, and the certainty of coming back make the ordeal surmountable.

It is under the leadership of Christophe Henninger that this beautiful chocolate factory is a reference in the Perche region. Open from Wednesday to Sunday, you will enjoy the inventive and very professional team of chocolatiers and pastry chefs. Among the specialties: praline candies, ganaches, macarons, saint-honoré, chocolate tarts and some new products such as chocolate bars with caramelized hazelnuts. Also maintained, the very close collaboration with the greatest chocolate houses: we love it.

The house Héloin is appreciated by all the great Norman gourmands since 1830. You can find melting chocolate bites, chocolate blocks by weight (dark, white, milk...), golden blocks, fruit jellies, calissons, old-fashioned candies (grey paste, licorice, violets...), Rouen apple sugars... And a multitude of other gourmet products to offer to yourself or to your loved ones. This confectionery is, since many years, a real institution of the old Rouen, especially as the reception is particularly pleasant!

The place has recently undergone major renovations, and the shop now has a new face, very modern and refined. The house, well-known for its chocolates, also offers homemade ice creams here. You will have to choose among the choice of flavours offered but once tasted, there will be others, the house has developed throughout the seasons. You can taste ice creams, pancakes and waffles, with a nice terrace just in front of the shop. We can only recommend this real institution of the city.

Since 2018, Tiphaine and Stéphane's chocolate shop has been located in the town of Ouistreham. With your nose glued to the window, you give in to temptation: dark chocolate, milk chocolate, garnished chocolate... The range, made with Valrhona - the professional brand - and grands crus (pure Brazil, pure Madagascar), includes a variety of creations (mendiants, roses des sables, lollipops, tablettes, orangettes) and confectionery (fruit jellies, caramels, marshmallows). In addition to the chocolates, gourmets will also fall for the fine pastries.

Ah, that P'tit Chou, what would we do without it and its specialty: the famous petit chou topped with an old-fashioned pastry cream, so light and tasty that it never weighs down the stomach, just like its price. At lunchtime, you can eat for a pittance! As for the famous brasillé, go early to be sure to enjoy it. As for the bread, the baker has mastered his trade, and we're sure to fall for the classic Normande, the "tradi" seeds or the corn bread. 100% homemade!

It is a must! If you pass by the central district, you can't miss this beautiful store. Chocolates, fine pastries, macarons... Jean-François Foucher's reputation has long gone beyond the departmental borders. On the spot, to take away or for your holiday desserts, the references are very popular, like the Saint-Honoré in the house style. Finally, note that the company also has a bakery, located next door.

While the store on rue Saint-Jean is more centrally located, it doesn't have a bakery (yum... lemon or chocolate cake!), nor any delicious savory treats. But the sweets it does offer - chocolates and, more specifically, macaroons (veritable culinary masterpieces) - are just as fabulous as those on boulevard Yves-Guillou. In summer, we love the ultra-gourmet, refreshing pots glacés. As for the pastries, they're an ode to the sublime and to gourmandise, and we're particularly enamored of the lemon meringue tart. It's a no-brainer.

On the former industrial site of Notre-Dame-de-Bondeville, a branch of the ESAT du Pré de la Bataille has been set up. It is a workshop-boutique where the ESAT workers, the confectioners, make sweet specialities, including the famous Rouen apple sugar, once sold by apothecaries to relieve sore throats and ward off melancholy, but also chocolates and candied fruit. An interesting visit to this establishment, which won an award at the Trophées de l'Attractivité touristique in the category Valorisation du Patrimoine.
