Ideally located at the start of the busy Rue Saint-Pierre, whether you're just passing through or a full-time resident, you won't want to miss out. Inside, you'll find an anthology of products made in Normandy: cookies, honeys, tripe, rillettes, all washed down with cider, perry, pommeau, wine, whisky (from Breuil-en-Auge), beer and the traditional Calvados. This charming boutique, inaugurated in August 2022, invites you to a delectable gourmet escape. From the moment you enter, the warm, rustic decor sets the scene. For those with a sweet tooth, you'll discover a whole range of artisanal products, from the essential chocolate bar to palm oil-free spreads. Not forgetting the famous babas and Harry Potter-inspired delights... Savoury connoisseurs can rest assured that the store also offers spreads and spices to delight their taste buds. This delicatessen pays tribute to culinary traditions with a whole range of products to discover.

Founded in 1981, Maison Asselot is the most famous ambassador of the genuine andouille de Vire, regularly awarded laurels of excellence in regional and national competitions. The best andouille from Vire, or almost! Handmade from pork belly, smoked in traditional beechwood fireplaces for three weeks, then simmered in a broth, Vire andouille can be enjoyed hot or cold, as an aperitif or at the table. An ancestral know-how, dating back to the ^18th century, to discover on our guided tours.

If you cook with seasonal produce, this Pré en Ville has a good chance of being the least expensive, according to the smart fox! Masterfully run by Didier and Fred, it's a great place to do your everyday shopping or enjoy a lunchtime treat. On the grocery side, quality merchandise direct from the producer! Fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy products, cosmetics... In the restaurant, you'll find fresh produce, cooked daily with ingredients from the store. Delicious dishes, mouth-watering salads, killer burgers... everything you need to enjoy your meal, from basket to plate!

A wonderful family story that began with Chantal and Dominique, whose farm in Orbec is devoted to dairy production, cereal growing, and cattle breeding. Then comes son Pierre, who has created a free-range poultry farm and, in 2019, opened a pretty boutique dedicated to local produce in an old cider press on the edge of the D579. Here you'll also find the whole family's superb farm produce for direct sale. A counter that works wonders!

For gourmets and gourmands alike, Torréfaction Dieppoise Arthur et Paul is a veritable paradise. When you open the door to this delicatessen with its deliciously vintage charm, you're immediately plunged into a whirlwind of exquisite scents. Freshly roasted coffee blends with the aromas of Bonnat chocolate and spices sold on site. Tea and herbal tea lovers are also delighted by the vast choice on offer here. On-site or online, you'll find everything you need to put together a gourmet basket to give as a gift or share with loved ones.

What an extraordinary storefront! Designed by the same artist as Maison du Biscuit, it plays on the convenience store's old-fashioned charm. And when you get a little closer, you'll notice owner Florian Lajoye's tribute to his parents, who were cream-makers by trade, and whose (delicious!) Manche butter he sells. From Sablés d'Asnelles to caramels d'Isigny, Florian makes a point of promoting more and more delicious local products on his shelves! And you can be sure he's doing the same at his 2nd store in Carpiquet! Hats off to Florian!

Uncompromising goodwill, a genuine passion for regional and farm products, and a smiling welcome - these are the assets of this little gourmet boutique, which is sure to delight you right in the heart of downtown. You'll find a wide selection of ciders, Norman beers, cheeses, fruit and vegetables, cookies, jams, wines and charcuterie. And don't forget the Calvados, two of which have been voted the best Calvados in the world! The whole of Normandy can be tasted here, with no need to worry about short excursions to other regions just as rich in flavours.

First and foremost, as the name suggests, you'll find excellent cakes here. Made with local produce, they come in many shapes and sizes. But you can also buy the excellent Cotentine tart, the making of which remains a secret, or the new version of flan! Beyond that, a whole range of excellent products from the Manche region are on offer. You can also take advantage of the terrace.

In this "counter of yesteryear" setting, it is good to find beautiful flavours. Local products, a collection of rare teas, exceptional whiskies, everything comes together to make shopping enjoyable. From raw cider to raw cream, from cheese by the slice to good wines from all over France, from starters to gifts or souvenirs: nothing is missing here. Note that just across the street is the sister establishment Côte et Cottages, which offers a wide selection of decorative objects, lighting and tableware, among other things.

In the family of small, independent and friendly shops on Rue Froide, I'd like to mention Les Cousins! Come and visit Alice and Brice (real cousins, yes, yes!), who have opened this pretty grocery store. All smiles, it's a pleasure to chat with them and discover their superb selection of local and seasonal products. Fruits and vegetables, skinless sausages, cheeses, flours, beers and even herbal teas. Normandy is favoured, otherwise it's always from France, or at least organic and sustainable. A great place!

The store in Martinvast is the meeting place for gourmets! In the shelves of this shop, which is definitely not like the others, quality poultry, turkeys, and capons for New Year's Eve meals flirt with salmon, seaweed, sweets, and chocolates from local producers. Relay of several other establishments, the orchards of the passion still propose tempting furnished baskets, provided with cider products...

Graine des Champs is a grocery store and a collective of over 50 producers and artisans from Normandy. Cédric Devienne, who initiated the project, offers for sale the organic products of his partners, all with exemplary traceability, from environmentally friendly production within a 50 km radius. You'll find fruit and vegetables, meats and cheeses, as well as teas and coffees supplied by local roasters. A wellness and homeware section offers a complete range of hygiene and cleaning products. Do you dream of a dozen oysters, mussels, langoustines or a handful of shrimps? Go to Le Vivier. You will fill up with iodine, all year round, even on Sundays, morning and afternoon. Since 1958 and three generations, the Colleville family has been treating you to shellfish and seafood straight from their water. Take the time to walk around the basins in the basement of the house. Le Vivier also has a tasting room, "La Cabane du Vivier", installed on the same level facing the sea...

This is a winery whose reputation has spread far beyond the borders of Argentan! A true mastermind behind this fine establishment, Marc Pottier makes it a point of honour to meet producers of reasoned, natural or biodynamic wines. Here, we share, exchange, make wonderful discoveries and feel good. Local products, such as calvados and other ciders and perries, are also on offer here. The sign says, "The cellar of tasteful French producers": it's true!

Just a stone's throw from Le Havre town hall is the Place O Marché, a popular spot for gourmets. Opened in 2023, these new covered market halls are home to a host of gourmet artisans: greengrocers, cheesemongers, butchers, fishmongers, wine merchants... there's something for everyone! What makes the place so original is the food court aspect. In fact, you can order dishes from each shopkeeper and taste fresh produce on the spot. Evening entertainment includes concerts and tastings.

Nicolas and Rita opened their Épicerie du Coing in Pont d'Ouilly in 2019, in a former ballroom, followed by an annex in Clécy in 2023. Today, and since the start of this beautiful new adventure, they have been working with producers of organic fruit and vegetables, dairy products, cheeses, honey, cookies, nougat, craft beers, medicinal plants... With a sewing "quince" for your alterations and confections, this is a great address to take note of for your next shopping trip!
