FROMAGERIE GILLOT
Founded in 1912, Fromagerie Gillot has been perpetuating the tradition of genuine Norman cheese in the heart of the Orne bocage for over a century. Six families have succeeded one another in defending this traditional know-how. As the last independent SME to produce raw-milk Camembert de Normandie AOP and Pont-l'Évêque, Gillot actively campaigns to preserve the authenticity of Normandy cheeses. The milk, collected within a 50 km radius, follows a rigorous, controlled circuit, the fruit of close collaboration with local producers. Attached to its terroir, the cheese dairy proudly maintains its activities on its original site.
