This family-run business, founded in the ^mid-19th century and handed down from father to son, produces AOC Touraine and Touraine Chenonceau. The quality of our wines has been recognized in numerous competitions. Our reds, Cabernet and Côt, have won prizes in Lyon two years running, and in Selles-sur-Cher. These same competitions also rewarded the traditional white and rosé methods, while the light, fragrant Sauvignon won laurels in Paris in the white category. This is a place not to be missed by fans of short distribution channels. Here you'll find all the products of the farm's 100 cows: cheeses, milk, yoghurts, butter and cream, as well as vegetables and blackcurrants in all their forms, syrup and jelly. Le Croc du Merle is also a 10-hectare winegrowing estate, producing a fine range of white, rosé and red Cheverny appellation wines, and even a remarkable Crémant de Loire to accompany desserts, which you can sample in the store or on a tour of the farm.

You will learn, among other things, that the estate is known for its Romorantine grape variety, which was said to be the favourite wine of Francis I. It is a white wine with great ageing potential which, according to Rabelais, "feeds off the fire of the spirit and extinguishes the fire of passion". In this domain located near the castle of Troussay and close to the castles of Cheverny, Fougères and Beauregard, you will receive a quality welcome at this winegrower's who will introduce you to the red, rosé and white cheverny and cour-cheverny wines, as well as to the crémant de Loire. The vineyard has been run in organic farming since 1998, hand-picking and natural winemaking without inputs. Exceptional wines from old vines are only produced in favourable years such as the Romorantique, aged 3 months in buried amphoras.

For a little more than 120 years, 5 generations of the Delaille family have succeeded each other at the Salvard estate. Expanded over the years, it has grown to 45 hectares and today it is Emmanuel and Thierry who perpetuate this family passion. The estate, which won prizes as early as 1933, exports most of its production, especially whites, throughout the world. For several years now, the estate has been using sustainable farming methods and offers the astonishing Vin d'O which has the particularity of aging under 12 meters of water in the Bay of Morlaix. This family of winegrowers, from father to son, produces côteaux-du-vendômois, red, white, rosé and gris using a traditional "low vine" planting method that ensures quality wines, aged in cellars dug into the tuffeau rock. The vineyards are located on a flinty clay terroir and offer a wide variety of grape varieties, including chenin, chardonnay, cabernet, pinot noir and the historic Vendôme grape: gris pineau d'Aunis. Xavier and Isabelle Frissant welcome you to the heart of their estate which includes the Touraine-Amboise and Touraine appellations. This family of winegrowers from father to son for 8 generations exploits its vines on 15 hectares, located in the heart of the Loire Valley vineyard. The vineyard is organic. The Amboise wines are made from the chenin grape variety for the whites and the côt noir grape variety for the reds. The Touraine wines are made from the sauvignon grape variety. They also cultivate a rare grape variety, the "Fié Gris", which stands out for its rich, delicate, smooth and floral side.

Welcome to Plou et Fils, winegrowers and producers since the ^16th century in the Amboise area. Over the years, the estate has grown to cover 75 hectares of vineyards. The Gamay, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Cabernet Blanc, Côt and Chenin grape varieties are to be discovered during a one and a half hour visit with a free and signposted tour of the vineyard. This farm is home to 160 dairy goats. With their milk, Dominique Couturier manufactures AOC, Stool-sur-Cher and Valençay cheeses. There are also cheeses to be tasted at the time of the aperitif in the form of a sewing dice but also crottins, hearts and white cheese.

Bruno Curassier, artisan winemaker for 25 years, warmly welcomes you to his superb estate located on the banks of the Cher, near the Château de Chenonceau. Discover his wine heritage in a large tasting room. We are very fond of the AOC Touraine Terroir de Chenonceau which is available in red, white, rosé and sparkling. The artisan winemaker takes care to respect the rhythm of nature. His mastery of pruning allows him to obtain high quality wines. They have been awarded several medals.

The estate covers more than 26 hectares of vines on the slopes of Rochecorbon with a single old grape variety: François le Chenin. The cultivation of the vines is respectful of nature, in the family tradition. The reputation of this appellation is well established. Château de Coulaine is an old family estate, handed down from generation to generation. Vines have been grown here since the ^15th century. In 1534, Coulaine was mentioned by François Rabelais in Gargantua. Six generations of wine growers succeeded in this biemont house of the late th century. Today Jean-François Demont and his family continue the Longue's long story. The wines have been recognized and rewarded many times: in Mâcon, Paris, the Vinalies (French Union of Oenologists) or served at the Elysée and Matignon. You can stay in the rural cottage 4 ears (calm and assured comfort; Reservations are made via the Gîtes de France). Since 2003, Elodie and Jérôme Billard have taken over the family business. They are the third generation to cultivate on this high plateau with clay-limestone soils. 24 hectares of old vines, planted mainly with Cabernet Franc, and under the controlled appellation Chinon. The grapes are harvested by hand and the estate is certified organic. Result: silky and fleshy wines. Don't miss the open house on the first weekend of December, with the added bonus of gastronomic products offered by local producers.

The history of the Domaine de la Sablière began with two hectares... But the clientele grew rapidly and today 25 hectares of vines are used to produce high quality wines. Marielle and Nicolas, this young and passionate winemaker couple, invite you to discover their profession and the world of Chinon.

You can find wines from the Loire, the South, Bordeaux, Alsace, Burgundy, and champagnes selected by Thierry from independent producers. A few bottles of rum and whisky are also available for spirits lovers. Don't miss the delicatessen section either, with cold meats and cheeses to accompany your aperitifs and meals. The great plus is that you can stop for lunch in a warm atmosphere, with tasty home-made dishes accompanied by a good glass of wine, of course!

This 28 hectare estate has existed since 1875 and is currently run by the fifth generation! Since 1995, the estate has converted to biodynamic cultivation and the wines are certified organic. You will find in this cellar all the varieties of Vouvray (still dry, semi-dry, mellow and sparkling extra rough, rough and semi-dry). You will visit the beautiful troglodytic cellars where the wine is aged, but remember to wear a sweater, the temperature does not exceed 12°C! You will be welcomed in a newly renovated space.

In May 2003, Ludovic and Stéphane Hardouin created this microbrewery. Today, they produce beers typically from Tours: La Loirette, La Salamandre and many others. Pure malt beers, neither filtered nor pasteurized. This is why a slight deposit can be observed at the bottom of the bottle. We knew Touraine and its wines. From now on, we will have to count on its beers! It is a pity that the installations of this brewery are not open to the visit.

Every day, Cas'al Dente offers Italian dishes freshly prepared by Valerie, a chef with many qualities. Gratins and lasagne whet the appetite at first glance. Christophe Verronneau welcomes you in an old freestone underground career of 3.5 km gallery where it completely plays its 9 hectares of vineyards in respect of Organic Farming. The harvest is done exclusively by hand, in respect of grape and traditions. The estate produces mainly white wines of name Touraine-Azay-the- AOC curtain. In the cellar, you will find wines from the bottle 5,45€ but can also watch a demonstration of the extraction of freestone and discover a natural spring. In addition to the usual tasting, also try that of organic fruit juices.

Pleine Forme is a small paradise of natural and organic products, located between Les Halles and rue Marceau. Cécile, the manager, is accompanied by a dietician and a naturopath and all three of them bring you precious advice, simply to take care of your health. The shop offers an organic grocery store with gluten-free, sugar-free or salt-free products, organic cosmetics as well as a space with relaxing music CDs, ergonomic seats, candles... Close to the confluence of the Loire and the Vienne, Pascal and Alain Lorieux's estate is located between two appellations. 20 hectares of Cabernet Franc vines: 12 hectares in Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil and 8 hectares in Chinon (Cravant-les-Coteaux), on a clay-siliceous soil. They produce three vintages of each appellation, including a Chinon rosé. Concerned about preserving the biodiversity of the territory, the duo limits the use of chemicals to a maximum. They practice grassing and regularly intervene manually in the vines.

James Paget's son, the friendly Nicolas, took over the estate a few years ago. Here we produce wines under three appellations: Touraine, Touraine-Azay-le-Rideau and Chinon. You can enjoy them with a chat and a "poire tapée" which will allow you to stay completely in the local specialities! The domain offers several services with visits, gyropod rides, meals, picnics... New for 2021: an escape game in the vineyards and the cellar, for the general public, which ends with a tasting.

This pear and apple tapée producer located in the pretty village of Rivarennes owes its fame to these same fruits prepared according to ancestral methods (the drying of the fruit was already practiced in the Middle Ages). You will have the choice between pears, apples and prunes, offered plain or in jam in unexpected spice combinations. Please note that all these delicacies are made exclusively in wood-fired ovens.
