The hamlet of Kerouat is a place over time. When you leave the hotel, you can quietly follow the shady and landscaped road. It is not a museum, so you can touch the works. You can then continue the walk on the Customs path.

The museum of the lighthouses and beacons could only be installed in Ouessant. Indeed, the outskirts of the island are known to all sailors of the world as a result of their dangerousness. Ouessant has 5 lighthouses, many beacons and land marks helping in navigation. The museum, set up in the former power station of the Créac'h lighthouse, presents the history of marine aids. It also evokes the many shipwrecks which took place in the vicinity and the epic construction of some monuments like La Jument lighthouse. Several Fresnel lenses and other optical objects are exhibited. Several models and audiovisual documents complement the visit. It is a museum for those who are passionate about lighthouses but also for curious people whom this field puzzles.

Finistère is the department that counted the most mills in its territory: there are no fewer. 3,800 mills listed. Powered by the Mignonne, the river of Daoulas, this mill was built in medieval times and served as a millstone from 1936 to 1970. Completely refurbished and transformed into a museum, it offers a museum that plays a role in its operation. The technical aspect is also addressed, with machinery mechanisms still under way. Finally, the headquarters of the Finistère Mills Association have settled there and can pass on many information to the fans of this heritage.
