In a carefully decorated setting, Tight offers a relaxed and gourmet break! In the evening, we dine by candlelight in a subdued atmosphere. Varied menu, mainly burgers, mussels with chicken sauce or lobster soup. Vegetarians and gluten free can also enjoy themselves, the preparations are well thought out for the good of all!

It all started with the experimental brewery and the idea of brewing new types of beer. Then food was added to the project. Established in a beautifully restored 19th century metalworking factory, this brewery restaurant stands out for the originality of its menus prepared with traditional products that go well with homemade beers. The dishes are hearty, pork belly served with apple sauce or lobster with its cauliflower purée. The vegan menu adapts to the rhythm of the gardener and his vegetables.

This restaurant is playing extra time with success since the site was already visited in 1539! After several fires, the restaurant moved into a vaulted cellar in 1750, a simple setting but with a touch of history! It is said that the place protected the frolics of the "mad" king, Christian VII, and his mistress... As the successive owners were originally from the island of Bornholm, specialities such as plankebøf (fillet of beef) are still on the menu. In the evening, tasting of Scandinavian plates (aften platte) and liqueurs from the island of Møn!

A very nice bistronomic address, this little sister of KOKS, a starred restaurant of international fame. The setting is warm, the staff very communicative. You enter a traditional house in the old port, with blackened wooden floors and beams. The kitchen works with products caught in the surrounding waters (sea urchins, langoustines, capelin...) with surprising vegetable touches. Grilled fish skin, razor clams with tartar sauce, zucchini and rhubarb salad... and for dessert, a cardamom strawberry vanilla bun.

Like many addresses on the banks of the Nyhavn canal, this restaurant is housed in a building dating from the 17th century. A setting that has managed to preserve its ancient cachet. Honorable parquet flooring and open fireplace in the room. The cuisine, which is Danish and traditional, favours organic and seasonal ingredients. At midday, the smørrebrød formula is enough to satisfy a small hollow. Otherwise, the hungry will opt for a more substantial dish: grilled meat or seafood. We liked the grilled langoustine marinated in garlic. Heated terrace in winter.

An institution located in the "Glass House" at the beginning of Storegade. One of the island's most popular café-restaurants. Good Danish cuisine concocted by Chef Gunnar. The place gets very busy on Saturdays, so reservations are recommended (by phone only). Open since 2004, this is the home of David Jensin and his wife Annette. Have lunch by the window on the main street side, or retreat to the cosy, quieter courtyard and enjoy the sunshine and the view of the church's magnificent red steeple with its white stripes.

A large Franco-Danish brasserie under the patronage of the second Secretary General of the UN, photographed with John F. Kennedy, dominates the stylish dining room. The café area is more relaxed. In the morning, you'll be served hearty breakfasts and a variety of teas and coffees. Depending on whether you come for lunch or dinner, a variety of dishes are available à la carte. The classic recipes are prepared bistro-style: salads, remoulade, moules-frites, open-faced sandwiches or appetizing burgers (always well presented).

Warm lighting, long tables d'hôtes and high chairs, an address in the popular (but trendy) Vesterbro district where it's good to meet up, renowned for its gastronomic menu. We settle down next to unknown neighbours with whom we quickly make friends. This is the very concept of the place. If you want a little more privacy, specify this when you make your reservation. Refined cuisine and flavors are at the rendezvous. By the way, Cofoco stands for Copenhagen Food Company.

Breathtaking view of the port. Very cosy family restaurant on the waterfront. Traditional Danish dishes are served, with a modern twist. The specialty: Kong Frederiks livret (ad libitum). Translate as "the king's favourite dish". Beefsteak with spicy cream, potatoes, chopped eggs, onions and beetroot or Stjerneskud, fried plaice fillet, shrimps, asparagus and smoked salmon, served with a red vinaigrette. The terrace is lovely in the summer, when you can admire the august facade (in a bright yellow) of this delightful address!
